They seem to run about one size off. I ordered a large and probably should have gotten an XL (and I'm not exactly a big guy). So if you're looking for an XL, the XXL might not be that bad. :thumbsup:

That's true. I guess my imagination is picturing something pretty bad if all the windos are broken. I'd just be looking for a frame, drivetrain, dash and full compliment of wiring. I'll provide the body. :D

Take a #2 phillips screw driver with you and do you best to pull up the edges of the carpet to check for moisture underneath. There are a dozen ways for water to get there, but no way for it to escape. Even rust free MJs are susceptible to losing the floors from the inside out.

The search program tries to ignore common words. There's a variable thresh-hold we can set that determines how common of a word is too common. Previously that setting wasn't affecting anything. The bar was always high. Now that it seems to be working, I'll see about setting the bar lower. :thumbsup:

I've got a couple thoughts here. Contrary to what it might seem, this isn't Junior High. We're all adults of varying ages (and maturity levels). Some friendly ribbing and banter is fine, but when someone says they don't like it, for the love of flatfenders, STOP IT. I'm not a hall monitor, and yet I feel like it sometimes. The last month seems to be conflict after another, some public, some not. You don't have to like everyone, but you sure better find a way to get along. I almost feel like a Mom, yelling at the kids in the back seat to knock it off and keep their hands on their side of the car. :fool: If someone takes strong offense to something you post, just apologize for it. Publicly or privately, I don't care, but be a man and acknowledge that you may have unknowingly gone over a line. Say it even if you don't mean it. And to those on the other side of a comment, be a man and realize that most of what's posted is not meant to be taken personally. We all have differing types of humor and there's no need to chew someone out when a simple "I didn't really care for that" may suffice. And for those here that aren't a man, well, I really haven't had any of these "personality conflict" issues with the ladies here, so you girls can probably just ignore this and carry on as usual. :D And for the love of willys, KIDS DO VISIT THIS SITE. :fool: Some members browse the pages with their little ones. In addition to the huge database of ads (that you'll never see again), you can select individual images to remove. If you have a problem with say, an avatar, you just right click it and *poof* it's gone. :D Very handy program to have, but you have to run the Firefox browser to use it. Today was my sister's first snow day since she started teaching in GA. :D She just sent me a pic of the awning outside that collapsed under the snow. If I can figure out how to get it off my phone I'll post it up.

Thus far, every ZJ I've seen has been low pinion. But I'm not all that up on ZJ specifics through all years.

I adapted my '99 plastic external slave's line to my '88 MJ's original hard line using a 1/4"-5/16" compression fitting from the hardware store. Only cost a couple bucks and has worked great. :thumbsup:

Gorilla glue is awesome stuff. Wicked strong. :thumbsup: Just need to be aware that it expands slightly as it cures. The items need to be held firmly in place for a couple hours. I glued my boots back together a couple months ago. Still holding on. :D

I like that factoid! It does make sense. I often have to fight with my Comanche's gearbox! And when it's cold just trying to get past the frozen doors and locks is a battle :rotfl2: I had to fight with my old stickshift every time the fluid level dropped (had a slow leak).

Yup, I would definitely start there and see what happens. :thumbsup: Could also be a clogged heater core or a faulty vacuum valve (the one that switches to allow coolant to flow through the heater core). Did this all happen suddenly? Or did it slowly get worse?

General rules of thumb under MJs and XJs (better check the tag to be sure): 4.0 + stick = 3.07 4.0 + auto = 3.55 2.5 + 5spd stick = 4.10 2.5 + 4spd stick = 3.55 2.5L + auto = 4.56 2.8L = better check to be sure An XJ axle will need the perches moved to the MJ location.

Even better than touching the engine would be to swap a 3.55 geared axle under your 2wd. :thumbsup: Your acceleration off the line will always be hampered by the crappy 3.07 ratio. And welcome! :wavey:

The buckets in our 06 Libby are some of the worst seats I've ever sat in. In my humble opinion of course. Well, mine and my entire family's opinions. The seats are uncomfortable for long trips and the fabric will stain from contact with pure water, let alone other liquids. :fs1:
