They don't cost much and can be a great help  (especially with cooling issues where you can just point at the radiator or coolant hose and know instantly where the blockage is)
31s would be a good choice with a 3" lift and stock gearing. What kind of wheeling?
FWIW, I'd put armor on the list before a lift kit. I've got 5" or so and I still managed to smash my rockers on a simple uphill trail. :( I wish I had built the guards first.
I have a very similar issue in my 88 (original booster) after installing a new rear axle with disk brakes. I still haven't figured it out and it's one of the big reasons why the truck sits. :fs1:
Seeing as our trucks tend to rust from the inside out, PORing the body would be waaaaaay overkill and may not actually prevent anything from happening. :(
I love the fights, but I treat it like most other sports and movies and music; I try hard not to know too much about the people behind the things I like. All too frequently I end up disappointed.
Funny vid though. :D
I try to fall back on my belief that simpler is better. We really don't get that many new posts. And it's sorta a slippery slope too. Separate forum for whole trucks? For non-MJ stuff? Someday I might try it, but not until at least halfway through august. My plate is pretty full. :(
