  1. Here's a small batch so you guys can get a sense of what I got to drool over. :D I've got enough new desktop images to last for a while. This is the Lake View Cruiser. A family team who ran 175mph the day before I met up with them. I haven't yet heard if they were able to best that. They just now became a member here, and I'm hoping they';ll have some of the pro's photos of the truck at speed. (this shot was taken at the starting line line. note the padding used to try and keep the interior at a survivable temperature :ack: ) This sweet MJ is owned by Vern. Hopefully he'll stop by too.
  2. I'm working on them. The shear volume of them is daunting and life won't seem to let me dedicate the required time. But I'm working on a small batch right now so I can post up something. :D I've got a bunch of pics/video of the LakeViewCruiser. And they might have some of the truck under speed. They just signed up here on the site. (those shots were from the first day or 2. When I got to talk with them the air dam was installed and the ribbon magnets had long since blown away with the 175mph wind)
  3. Cherokees never had them and the Comanche valve is not available anymore through any known company. But you can get an aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve from places like Summit Racing. It won't be load sensing, but it'll allow you to tweak the pressure to get it right.
  4. Assuming our search feature is actually working again, you should be able to find the posts where people have purchased those items. ebay comes to mind. If the search function is not working properly, please let me know. If your truck is stock height, then WJ grand cherokee arms are built better and have a bend in them to better clear tires.
  5. I know the one you're thinking of but can't find a pic in my online collection. Try thumbing through the "random comanches" thread. It might be in there. I did find this one though:
  6. eeeenteresting. :hmm: Are you guys using firefox or internet exploder?
  7. Some good ideas there. I'm not too crazy about the attachment points to the rear wheelwells though.

    new Comanche.....

Well, then, go over to the MJ Projects forum, start a thread, and then you can keep a running blog about your trucks.
  9. How accurate is your temp gauge? Photos of the current fan setup?

Sweet. :D have you started a project thread for this one yet?
  11. Thank you all. I was never actually looking for handouts, but I really appreciate the help everyone. I've been able to pay back most everything I borrowed (aside from the plane fare).
  12. a couple I was lookin' at for ideas: And my plan (dashed lines are under the sheetmetal):
  13. I'm bAAAAaaaaaack. 8) Photos/stories etc will be posted as soon as I find that blasted cable. Gotta call Scott to get an update on his dad and the truck too.
  14. They look good. Too bad they are both missing the front left corner for some reason. :dunno: Should be a simple enough fix though. :D
  15. I found these listed for $25 each. Can't say for certain if it's the right one, but the part number matches at least. http://www.centercaps.net/caps/details. ... Number=708
  16. 20 minutes before my ride arrives. :D Don't know when next I'll be able to post, but hopefully I'll have pictures of something for y'all. :brows:
