The rarest of all are the 91 and 92 HO MJs. Production was winding down then, in 1991 5,188 produced, and only 952 in 1992. The highest production years were 1987 (43,070) and 1988 (43,718).

Not really. The diagnostic and operability checks are all done w. the tranny installed. About all you can do is pull the pan, check the condition of the fluid and for any metal pieces in the filter. I can send you the AW4 manual if you want it.

Went to many many games in the old Gahden, watching the old Celtics, so I'm fired up they are finally back. :D Yeah, I loved Montana, best QB ever under pressure. NCAA football is the biggest thing in 'Bama. Looking for big things next year from the Tide. And Pete, am afraid there's little but hope for the Lions mate.

Real sport football of any kind don't exist in Cali anymore mate.

This makes up double for the Pats. In 40+ years of watching NBA playoffs, I have never seen such hardcourt carnage, such domination offensively and defensively, such choking (Fakers of course), and the 4th quarter hasn't even started yet. If I didn't hate the Fakers so bad I'd stop watching because of pity. But NOT! And hell yeah - Paul for MVP. Damn, he deserves it. Life is sweet again.

Go by the harness connector pin numbers and function. Wire colors changed throughout the years, but the plug pin numbers and function on each pin did not.

I bet this guy goes for $5K minimum  http://tinyurl.com/49hvon

Thanks for sharing that. Good game last night, but the Celts could have won it with their D, but I think they wanted to close it out in Beantown tomorrow.

He mentioned it Eagle. :D

Which speedo gear did you put in Chico? The correct one for your setup is 32 tooth. I ran that same setup for awhile and even with the stroker I got 15 minimum in town, and 19-20 highway. When I changed the gears to 4.11 (and changed the speedo gear to 37 tooth) mileage increased across the board 2 MPG. And my odometer is spot on. 3.55s w. 31" tires on a tired engine = engine lugging well below the optimal power/economy band = poor mileage. You got to regear mate! :D

I had one go out in my old 88 XJ and I had no pedal. The diaphram was busted and the pedal went to the floor.

That's mostly true, except the 16 gal was dropped in 1991 and all the LWB had the 23.5 gal tanks.

You gonna swap in the HO harness(s)?

Brake boosters go out occasionally. Definitely sounds like this one is sucking air.

Looks like you're missing the valves. There's a real good diagram in the 91-93 parts manual. I think you already have it - if not I can send. Figure 24-1700. Here's couple of pics of my 91: Image Not Found Image Not Found

You are right. Below is the regulation tube bumper. Image Not Found -
Georgeous. Love the chrome bumper too. :D  But you need MORE chrome, like the grille, mirrors, door handles, etc. etc. w. a dark color, like my gray. This color was only available on 91-92 MJs. Yes I know; I'm shameless.

Are we talking skin mount or plastic replica? That would sure be fast for skin. I just thought of something: At this time of year a female should have been spawned out. Jeez, this could have been a double digit doozy a month or so ago. Skin mount. I thought it was kind of fast too, but my bro-in-law says it will be done by then. I've had fish mounted before, and yeah, that's quick for a skin mount. But this is 'Bama, and a coupla' weeks could mean a month or two. Bass here are off the beds normally by the end of April at the latest. So she could have been 10 loaded, but I'm thinking 9.5 tops. Either way it's a nice largemouth. One of my neighbors pulled in a 13.5 pounder last year night fishing in August. It's a private lake and sees very little action, which is nice. :D

Correct. This is actually a Draw-Tite hitch. New grade 8 longer bolts come with the hitch, plus spacer shims that are needed for some years. It also bolts to the step bumper in the middle. Here's a link for the instruction sheet: http://www.etrailer.com/instructions.aspx?pn=75021

Oh yeah! His Dad and I were more excited than the kid when he was reeling it in. I can't believe he got it in on a tiny Beetle Spin crappie lure with a brass hook. His Dad brought it to a taxidermist friend of his last night and it's promised to be completed in two weeks. AT THAT TIME I WILL post pictures of the mounted monster, okay Wildman?

I would not tow anything larger than than an empty 3' little red wagon kids toy with the factory bumper. Here's a good quality hitch on Ebay, rated at 5000 lbs max., $129 shipped. It has to used with the factory bumper to mount correctly. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/U-Haul-NIB-Trailer-Hitch-Jeep-Comanche-75021_W0QQitemZ150149765834QQihZ005QQcategoryZ33653QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247

I'm quite familiar with your AO as I used to go TDY to the Naval Electronics Systems Engineering Center (NAVELEX) in Vallejo quite a bit. But never had the pleasure of doing any sturgeon fishing........

C'mon down CW, UB always welcome :D (providing you bring the Miller High Life of course) But this time of the year, as hot as it is, I usually switch to top water night fishing. That's when the big boys like to feed.............
