  1. I have one of these from Ebay: http://tinyurl.com/6xky8f Works very well.
  2. The foil on the cluster is marked - just have to trace it out.
  3. Not really. Meter movement is governed by current flow thru the coils, which creates a magnetic field to deflect the gauge needle. No lubrication or anything like that. The best option is a replacement gauge.
  4. Here are the calibration values for the gauge: 0 PSI: 1 ohm 40PSI: 46 ohms 80 PSI: 87 ohms I calibrate them with a decade box, which simulates the resistance of the sender. Your sender resistance readings are not too far off, so I think the problem might be the gauge itself, most likely a sticky meter movement, even though you got full scale deflection when you disconnected it from the sender.
  5. I put this kit in about 4 years ago (was $175 then) and used the OEM door switches. The regulators are NOT made in China, they are quality units made in Italy, better than the OEM junk. This is one area AMC/Mopar dropped the ball on, window regulators. The kit is completely bolt in, works great. http://www.www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AEOS&Product_Code=JE01-K
  6. Wow! $155/ea for a manual regulator? Dayem, it's cheaper to put in new power window regulators and switches.
  7. I used a dash fog light switch to provide manual control to my existing aux fan, and used it to supply 12V to energize the aux fan relay coil. If you are switching 12V on your application, the 12V input goes to the NO center pin and the 12V output to the relay is connected to the same side the switch indicator light is on. This way the indicator illuminates when the fan is on. EDIT: I lied - I used a cargo light switch (same SPST switch as the fog light switch). My fog light switch is used for foglights. :D
  8. Is this to power an existing aux fan for manual control or to control another fan you have added in place of the mechanical fan? And will you be switching 12V or a ground signal (through a relay of course)? There are a couple of different ways.
  9. 30# injectors are too much for most 4.0L aspirated strokers too, although someone might be doing it. Even the Hesco 4.9L stroker runs 24# injectors, although at a higher pressure.
  10. This is a cool contest. Lisa and Steph look like twins JT. She will definitely deserve this win!
  11. AAARG Eagle. I sat there waiting for 999 to clear, then slammed my vote home. Little did I know it was you mate!
  12. WOOHOO!! I got number 1000! BTW, who's Lisa Loeb? :dunno:
  13. And don't forget the cop cluster with the 120 MPH "CERTIFIED CALIBRATION" speedo. :D Image Not Found Image Not Found
  14. Isn't that a coincidence! Dino posted the below on the strokers forum just yesterday: From my site: http://www.jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/tech_specs.html Dino
  15. Did you get that sucker out Jeff?
  16. Hey JT - I stuffed a few in there for your girl mate.
  17. Ours are still B&W because we're 30 years behind everyone else.
  18. Switch to Bud Lite Lime. Tastes about the same. :D
  19. Very doubtful it will be a bolt-on fit. GC's are wider, bumpers are completely different, etc. etc. Of course, anything can be fabbed to fit if you're talented. :D
  20. I'm on the way! :D Oh crap - I didn't read down far enough. I've been looking and looking for a couple of years now for a good used Reflexxion hood - no joy. Prolly will break down soon and spend the $400+ to get one.......
  21. :D I looked it over a little bit. It's a 4WD 5-speed model and has a real good rust-free body. The mileage was just under 100K. Interior dirty but in good shape overall. Looked clean and dry underneath. I left a note on the windshield to give me a call. I'd give him $300 or so for it.....
  22. I stopped at a local 4X4 shop yesterday and picked up a brand new TeraFlex adjustable trackbar for $70 + tax, so I just had to buy it. :D Got it on today and it's great! It adjusted out the axle off-center nicely and the whole front end feels tighter and more responsive, especially when going over bumps. Should have done this long ago. Only trouble was beating the old track bar out w. the BFH and pickle fork. I missed on a mighty swing and smashed the crap out of my left index finger joint and broke my watch too. :headpop: But it'll heal eventually. Time for some pain meds.......
  23. I like that color. Is it a MJ color? It's not too far from my color, code PS7, dark silver metallic. They only had it on 91 and 92 MJs. I don't like the hood though. You should take it off and sell it to me.
  24. That's why I like having an A/F meter installed. Even an el-cheapo narrow band does a good job of monitoring the open-to-closed loop shift, and lets you know how the O2 sensor is performing. Well worth having IMHO.
  25. When you say the MJ is rated @ 5K lbs, I ASSuME it has an aftermarket hitch fitted?
