  1. Yep, sounds like you need to get rid of your secors & vaccuums. Agree. The 91-92 HOs still have some secors & vaccuums but not nearly as many as the Renix years did. Hope you find one.
  2. The Verizon Wireline union called a strike on Sunday. The stock market has going down the tubes since mid-week last, recession maximus is predicted, and these Union morons call a strike. These guys are all in the company stock purchase plan, and guess which telecommunications stock is tanking the worst of all. Great timing guys.
  3. Yes, I have the WJ lowers too but opted to replace the uppers with stock units and new bushings so I didn't have to mess with all the trimming. The WJ lowers not only look nice, but really firmed up the handling and ride too.
  4. The radiator I bought looks just like that one from the FFD site, but it's a two core radiator. The seller was not FFD, it's from Ebay seller spikedcollardogs who uses FFD radiators. I prefer the two core over the three core. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JEEP-CHEROKEE-XJ-ALUMINUM-RADIATOR-W-COOLING-FANS-MPG-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem19c54bbcfdQQitemZ110684257533QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

  6. ZJ LCAs are identical to MJ/XJ LCAs. Did you mean WJ LCAs? And good score on the D30. Gotta do this too one of these days.

    Meet Juliet

Jim, you ever read the book by Nicolas Evans, The Horse Whisperer? Great book. I'm reading it again for maybe the third time. It's so much better than the movie was, as books usually are. Juliet looks like she got a little Appaloosa in her, si? What kind of azzhole would mistreat a horse like that?

    e-trade baby

Nope, I didn't notice. But the only time I look at a ZJ or WJ is in a junkyard to see if any parts from them will fit and be an upgrade to my MJ. ;)
  9. Yes, it's regulated by the ECU based on load demand and battery voltage sensing. Same way the 91-92 MJ HO alts are, and the V8 ZJs and Dodges the 134A alts came from. Yes, I did add the inline ANL fuse (150A if I recall) along w. a set of Kelly's mains cables.

I've never seen that one before. Great! :clapping:

  12. Me too. Always had a dog everywhere I've lived in the world if I was allowed to. Overseas most were native dogs of the particular country; S. Korea, Guam, Philippines, Kwajalein, Japan, Oz, other places. No matter where, they are just dogs, they are all the same, some better behaved than others, some smarter than others, but all are willing to love you unconditionally with no reservations. How many humans do that? One of my favorites was a mixed Chow breed we had in Korea. Sadie was a "site" dog at a remote AFRTS (US Armed Forces Radio and Television Service) broadcasting site up near the DMZ. The site was shutting down and after doing a service call there the site chief asked me to take the dog back to Seoul on the UH-60 Blackhawk that was picking me up. I knew Sadie, a very intelligent beautiful little dog, and brought her back to our tiny apartment in Seoul. We kept her for three years, a great pet with the kids walking her every night to do her business, then I was transferred to Guam. Because it was almost impossible to get Korean animals into Guam, I reluctantly gave her to a local friend (the owner of my apartment building) who I was sure would take good care of her. We kept in touch via email, and my friend sent me a taped video about six months later. Sadie had been doing dog food commercials on Korean TV, and was a local canine super star. She could smile on command (I taught her that) and gave an appearance happiness while chowing down the local dog food. I made a few emergency maintenance trips back to Korea from Guam, and always made it a point to see Sadie in Seoul. She retired from commercials at 11 years of age, and had a great life. We all still miss her.
  13. $200 shipped.
  14. I just picked up the below from FFD (minus the fans). Extra thick and very solid. Got to modify it now for my two fans.
  15. On my 91 the fog lamp switched output was pin #10 of the 10 pin connector, a BRN/WHT wire. It's best to ohm it out to be sure and wire colors changed changed a lot throughout the years.
  16. G, have you tried the calibration procedure for the fuel gauge in the FSM? The FULL position equates to 5 ohms resistance on the sender potentiometer; more resistance will make the gauge read lower as yours does. I'd measure the resistance across the pot while swinging the float (5-105 ohms), check for clean continuity from the pump to the proper cluster connector pin, clean up the cluster connectors, and make sure the gauge mounting screws are tight.
  17. Wasn't crazy about anywhere in Greece, but loved the food and of course all the historical sites. I liked everywhere in Spain; Barcelona, Valencia, and especially Rota where we spent the most time. Rota was a Navy town and at the time had more bars per capita than anywhere in Europe. Friendly people and lots to do. A lot cheaper than most other countries too.
  18. You ever pull into port after 40+ days at sea into a Greek army town? Then stand in line with Greek army soldiers? Sloppy 3rds, 4ths, 5ths, whatever - better than nothin........... Ah, memories..............
  19. Dayem. Looking like sloppy thirds now.
  20. The 3-pin connector is the one used for factory fog lamps. You will have to add your own dash switch. PM me your email address and I'll send the schematic.
  21. My mistake. I fixed it now. It's #1. How was your cornhole feeling the next morning? That ought to be an indication. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
  22. Mine hasn't clogged up yet AFAIK, but I'll do the same ream job on mine to prevent it. Thanks Juan. EDIT: Easiest way to do this for me was to snake my arm up beside the right side of the starter motor and grab the hose where it mates with the nipple on the frame. There's no hose clamp. Pull it off, wash/clean it with hot water and reach up again and stick it back on the nipple. But first run some wire (I used some plastic weed whacker wire) into the nipple about a foot and clean up the inside.
  23. What!! He promised me the same blond. Guess you're stuck with sloppy seconds Sam-man.
  24. I think the "838001" number on the potentiometer housing is the Mopar subcontractor's part number. For what it's worth, my NOS HO sending unit has the same number on the pot. :dunno:
  25. Yeah, but you're in Canada :Canadaflag:. Y'all copied the Brits and used their weird traffic regs except from driving on the wrong side of the road. :clapping:
