  1. Here's how I did it. Used the Ford brake clevis; you can get them from Lokar or elsewhere. If you're not lifted over 3" or so your original cables are long enough. Which "potioning valve" (proportioning?) valve are you thinking of? On an MJ the front brass piece going to the master cylinder is no more than a distribution block; brake biasing is done by the rear load sensing valve. It works fine with disk brakes.
  2. This one? HERE
  3. Tried Ebay? HERE
  4. If you still have the original catalytic converter on it, it's probably clogged.
  5. :rotf: Always nice to meet another Moxie fan. Few people enjoy it's "unique" taste these days. It is an acquired taste, I admit I had to mix a lot of Vodka in at first; but now I can slam it right out of the can. Yep, grew up in S. Burlington (Mayfair Park area) and "learned" to love it. Found a place online and just ordered a sixpack just to see if I still like it.
  6. Looks like the "damn old guy" is damn proud of his Chevy. :D
  7. Should buff out. Why weren't you driving your own vehicle? My kids don't drive my stuff. Never. Looks like Deputy Dawg needs to lose some weight? Si?
  8. :beerhead: Mmmmm, Moxie. Wish we could get it down here.........
  9. His E9 becomes effective in July. He was going to retire this year as an E8, but now he's staying in for another couple. He'll spend the rest of his time at Pensacola and will retire there. Also my daughter will be commissioned into the USAF in a couple of weeks and he'll be coming up to Tuscaloosa for the ceremony for her first salute. Will still be a scumbag E8 though.
  10. Just shipped one via Fedex Ground from Alabama to Denver to a commercial address. It weighed 16 lbs. and they charged me $12 shipping.
  11. Wow! Ultimate knee draggin on the last lap. What amazes me is how the tires stick to the painted track surfaces, and the mighty nads of the pilots.
  12. This I have to see.
  13. You're right, 0-5 VDC O2 sensor output on the Renix. Forgot about that. But it can be done by using a wideband O2 sensor and A/F meter. Most of those have a 0-5v aux analog AFR output that can be fed back to the computer. It thinks it sees the same input as the old O2 sensor provided.
  14. Plenty of light, more than H4 singles, if you do an H4 conversion on the quad headlamps.
  15. "The fifteen hours a day I sleep have no effect. I awake to the same tedium,.......forgotten on the floor" :clapping:
  16.
  17. If you fit an Air/Fuel meter you can see the output of the O2 sensor at all times. It monitors the open-to-closed loop transition, and uses the 0-1 VDC O2 sensor output that is fed to the computer to indicate the A/F mixture on the meter.
  18. What is the BS (back space) on these wheels? Do you have spacers on the front wheels? :hmm:
  19. Exactly what I was saying. No one here has any experience building strokers. Yep - Dino's a good guy, but all his expertise is based on a single engine build. Your opinion. I disagree. Run a good running stroker for awhile - you might change your mind. And yes, Hesco engine prices have gone through the roof now, based on their excellent rep and because it's the best product out there. They still sell well even in this rotten economy. I was able to buy one several years ago when they were competitively priced. Would I buy one now? Nope - too expensive.
  20. Hopefully you are spending your quality time over on the stroker forum and not looking for educated answers and/or stroker opinions here. You won't find them. I'm not bad-mouthing anyone here, but very few CC members have any experience building a stroker engine, including me. I just put in a basic stroker crate engine then built it up with the peripherals. So take what you hear here with a grain of salt. Don't get depressed.

I thought this was great. http://www.flixxy.com/bear-animal-nature-film.htm
  22. Damn, that's a good clip Sam. :rotf:
  23. A stroker IS worth it. Anyone who tells you it's not has never had one or is misinformed. Just my experience: http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=387
