  1. Did you press the clutch pedal in right at the end of the video? At about 22 sec?
  2. I'm still here Chico - man. I've tried to forget you but I can't. WTF - over? Wahoo's still here too. Great to hear from you. What are you up to?
  3. the only quiet pump is a dead pump.
  4. Where do you find this stuff Pete?
  5. Because they have existing fuel delivery problems, like a dirty filter, low fuel pressure, bad injector(s), low idle, etc. etc. and think bypassing the resistor will speed up the pump and cure all their problems.
  6. I hear ya. Our JK was going to be traded in for a new "Gladiator" too, and that ain't happening either. If I come across a worthy auto MJ I give you a holler Fred.
  7. Yes. Looks good and centered in the well too. Do you remember how the side-to-side centering the axle was before adjustment with the track bar?
  8. Did you check axle centering after your lift? Did you install an adjustable track bar? That coil spring looks too bent.
  9. Thanks Fred - I plan to. Did you find a new Comanche yet?
  10. For sure. But tell that to the geniuses who say the resistor is only there to cut down pump noise and so they bypass it. These people either love changing fuel pumps prematurely, or have stock in Bosch.
  11. It's an Italian copy of the Bosch. So it installed with no modifications? Never have knowingly used any of this company's products, but they have been around over 70 years. Might be okay - let us know how it works out.
  12. This would be ideal for you. Suzuki Double-Cab from the Philippines.
  13. They are popular everywhere in multiple configurations in every country in the world that has roads. Mostly ugly, boring utilitarian vehicles that multitask well and fill an important niche. But I sure don't want one.
  14. Fried? Yuck - that's how to destroy an oyster. Raw in the half shell on ice, dash of hot sauce, suck it down, chase with a swallow of cold High Life. Heaven.....
  15. Yeah, it got so bad we couldn't travel in uniform anymore w/o taking abuse from the rabble. But that was a joke too since most every guy that wasn't in the military had hair at least down to his shoulders. Wasn't a fun time to be in the military. Didn't care much for Arlo, Woodie, Seeger, and the rest of the singing protestors either then. But times change, I really like their music now.
  16. Yes, it's very disappointing Fred. We were going to trade our 15 JK in on one, but not for that lame attempt at a truck. I hope they do sell well, then maybe they will make a real 2-DR truck with a real bed for a little less money.
  17. 1997 models and up.
  18. ^^ This I would have bought. Even with an extended cab. But not a chopped off 4-DR JL with a tinker-toy box hanging out the back. They're trying to please everyone I guess, but they're not pleasing anyone.
  19. I've always hated green bean casserole with a passion. Probably because as a kid I was forced to eat it. To this day I can't stand it. I do love fresh green beans with plenty of butter though.
  20. Exactly. Most "trouble" or "alarm" indicators are energized by the application of a ground signal. It's much easier and safer to switch ground signals than hot voltage signals. The HO's use ground switching to change the state of relays almost exclusively. Renix, not so much.
  21. But you coulda used a fairlead similar to this one. Polished up a bit more of course.
  22. P/u a mechanics stethoscope and listen at each pulley while the engine is running. That'll tell you quickly where the chirp is originating. I like the Lisle 52500, not expensive and amplifies the foreign sounds well.
  23. Yup. Just checked it in the 91 wiring manual and it's wired exactly the same, but drawn differently and easier to understand, for me anyhow. Although I missed the bulb check ground...
  24. OP, pull the pan and change the filter.
