Headlight delay module
HOrnbrod replied to ftpiercecracker1's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yep. Same module, connector, and wiring for 86-93 - different wire colors though as per usual. Someone post up a Renix schematic and you can see the schematics are the same. -

Bumgarner just shut out the Royals 5-0 to go up 3-2 in the Serious. Lol. That boy can pitch at crunch time. Back to KC tomorrow, next game Tuesday night. No worries. maybe........

Looks great. I like the attention to detail. Very much. My engine is a crate engine so can't do it until it breaks - would if I could. But you have given me some ideas with the take-off stuff. I am slowly replacing the rusted factory underhood bolts and nuts with stainless Allen head cap screws and nuts, including the valve cover bolts, fender bolts, radiator bracket bolts, firewall bolts and nuts, etc. etc. Anal maximus I guess..............

Do MN and the other rust belt states that have annual inspections check for excessive frame rot? Can they fail a rust bucket for being too rusty? I wouldn't want to be driving behind that thing or others like it when they decide to split apart.

In case your regulator is internally leaking, not the quick-connector: http://www.amazon.com/Injection-Pressure-Regulator-83503635-Cherokee/dp/B00LI9H6T0

XJ steering wheel removal?
HOrnbrod replied to johnj92131's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Damn John, sounds like Anita has lost her sense of humor. A few months ago I took my wife to the yard looking for accessory stuff for her JK, and she loved it. Spent most of the day pulling stuff, and she was wrenching having a good time. Wore me out. Since then I find it a lot easier to take the short drive down to crusty Rusty's where they sell brand new JK take-off stuff for dirt cheap. -

Ned Yost, the KC manager, pulled all the right moves tonight, as he usually does. The Royals are not the most talented team in baseball, but all the pieces fit and it's fun to watch the team play. If they have the lead in the 6th, they most always win because of their outstanding bullpen. I still think it will go to the 7th game though.

I asked that same question awhile back as that nub was interfering with the serp belt after I installed the 99 intake, Here's the answer and the thread: http://comancheclub.com/topic/38622-tower-or-nub-on-the-timing-cover/?hl=timing+cover

Side Triangle Vent Window Leak
HOrnbrod replied to 1989 Eliminator's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Same with my post-Chrysler 91. No leaks, whistles, etc. etc. etc. ever. -
Maybe you should come out from under your rock? Hope your boys get the job done tonight.

From Southern Cali? That explains it all. You should be ashamed for taking advantage. Enjoy the dinner.

KC and the Giants are all tied up 1-1 and heading back to San Fran for game 3 tomorrow night. Don't really have a dog in this fight, but since I'm an American League guy and don't like any of the Cali teams, I have to go with KC. Especially since they last won the Series way back in 85 with one of my all-time favorite players George Brett. There are no super stars on this KC team, and they are fun to watch. I think it will go for the full seven games, but KC should pull it off.

Who (whom, what) was stupid enough to bet with you on that Donkey home game Jim? Everybody knows Payton always wins regular season games, then becomes el-foldo in the playoffs.

I got them at Lowes in the hardware section. http://www.lowes.com/pd_138275-37672-881204_4294934474__?productId=1133891&Ntt=plastic+push+fasteners&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNtt%3Dplastic%2Bpush%2Bfasteners&facetInfo=

I would wait until you complete your lift and shock mounts before worrying about shocks. Lots of things can change during the project. When the lift is complete, call Bilstein Tech Support and give them the "at rest" length distance between the mounts and they will recommend the proper length 5100 series shock.

Agree. Have replaced a couple of pinion seals and reused the crush sleeve. Also reused the pinion nut.

Yeah, the AFR was jumping around pretty good. Looks like it's all downhill from here though. Congrats. -

Cool! It's alive! Have you run it long enough to go to closed loop yet?
