  1. Okay mate, if you don't mind I sure don't either. Carry on....................... AFAIK we don't have any Venezuelan members on the Club. Maybe you could contact the Carabobo Valencia Plant and ask management there if there is still an old timer around who remembers your truck. Worth a shot.
  2. I don't think size matters too much (in this case  ). I installed a small cannister from a Porsche in the engine compartment and got rid of the football behind the bumper. The cruise and the rest of the vacuum controls work just as well with the smaller reservoir as it did before.
  3. Ah, okay. That explains the OBD2 MAP sensor. You are getting pretty close to lighting that engine off it looks like.
  4. Interesting. The factory parts manual shows them first appearing on the 93 XJ models. Is your 92 MJ 2WD?
  5. Classic Eddie Murphy. Needed that. Sorry all for the thread degradation, but it's all Cruiser's fault. It's somewhat on-topic though as it mimics a Renix exhaust system.
  6. Dried apricots? I didn't know that.
  7. Correct on both points, especially the first one. If I could post a video for you, I would........ Send me the video and I'll post it up. What a buddy!! You don't know about daring me, do you? More to follow.......
  8. Correct on both points, especially the first one. If I could post a video for you, I would........ Send me the video and I'll post it up.
  9. In mid-1993 the rotors became the same for both 2WD and 4WD (same hub/bearing units were incorporated).
  10. Correct on both points, especially the first one.
  11. Pleasantly tickled? :rotfl2: I'm sure the butt dyno in your case is highly developed, but it was fooled by better throttle response. That's all that happens on a NA system until the increased suckage from the bored TB is balanced by increased blowage in the exhaust system. Only a real dyno run can tell you that. I've tried several different performance mods over the years and according to my butt dyno, all were an improvement. But when I dragged it down to Hesco for a real dyno run, some mods showed little or no gains. The olde butt dyno tells you what you want to hear. Unfortunately I quit having dyno runs a couple of years ago because hearing the engine screaming at 6K+ RPMs made me too damn nervous. Now I rely 100% on the butt dyno too and hear what I want to hear.
  12. The OP came here looking for help trying to pin down build details so he can register his unique Comanche in the UK. He didn't come here to solicit members' lame opinions concerning his MJ's appearance. Besides being irrelevant, immaterial, and off-topic, no one gives a damn. Unless you have some worthwhile advice to contribute that will help out the OP, don't post.
  13. ^^ Note: These are for the HO's (3/4x16 thread), not Renix .
  14. What exactly "seat-of-the-pants" difference did you notice on a stock engine?
  15. Yep, unfortunately that's what usually happens. Most never get finished. :(
  16. The dealer doesn't sell the screws separately; you have to buy the TPS sensor to get them. I believe these screws are 5mm thread with a 20mm Torx head. Any slotted, Allen, Phillips, etc. head 5mm screw at the correct length should work - you don't need the Torx head.
  17. Bad. Your video does not open - marked private. haha
  18. It's an experimental aircraft with two seats so I think you would need an FAA Private Pilot license plus the Experimental Aircraft Authorization certificate.

  20. The only time I can see driving it on the road would be back and forth to the airstrip.
  21. Probably would be a dog on the trail though......... http://www.terrafugia.com/aircraft/transition
  22. Yes, that can be a problem. Chrysler started detailing bolt/nut hardware part numbers by thread pitch, bolt type, and length around 1997 in their factory parts manuals. Before that you are basically SOL, unless the same p/n was carried up into these later years. AMC never provided hardware details except for the p/n.
