    Mj road trip.

It's just good to know that you have friends along the way. And non-Jeep related problems can also arise.

Cool. Now if Mike breaks down up there, I won't have to go. :D I still got you covered from the San Fernando Valley to Orange County. And it looks like the meet-and-greet on Monday is gonna have a real good turnout.
  3. That's not a "rollover", that's a "flop". :D But glad that you were not injured.
  4. I would go and talk to the other chicken owners and see what their thoughts are.
  5. My buddy and I went to put the hood on and we found that one of the corners was damaged. So now I gotta wait for a replacement. :(
  6. Put some gauge overlays on and added LED bulbs to the cluster. And I picked up my cowll induction hood today. It's going on first thing in the morning.
  7. The sticker actually says "Heavy Ton"? Do a search here for "Metric Tonne". Looks like the Metric Tonne will be a longbed (7 ft) and have leaf springs with 5 leaves.

Gee thanks Bo. I love you too??

    Scumbags....

You would certainly think so. But I worked at FedEx for 11 years and it's amazing what some people will do. One guy I knew got prison time. Others lost their jobs, benefits, pension, etc. along with now having a felony record. And for what?

If you have any problems on the way down, gimme a call. I live about 10 minutes from Disneyland, but I'd be willing to drive to northern LA County if you needed any assistance. I'll PM you my phone number.
  11. Interior sun visors? Or the exterior ones made by Lund?
  12. Thanks Bo. I'll snap some pics of the door strikers tomorrow.
  13. Good question. :D The fenders were professionally prepped and primered. So I'm not gonna do anything to those. The header panel was rattle-canned by me, as was the rest of the truck. So it's actually three different shades of gray right now. If anything, I would sand down the cab, doors, and bed and rattle-can it again a lighter shade of gray. I know that's ghetto, but it would just be temporary, of course. Before I can get it painted, a buddy is gonna do a little body work on the doors and bed. Then another friend is gonna paint it. It's just a matter of them trying to fit me into their busy schedules.
  14. Moog was recommended to me when I was looking for a ZJ tie rod and drag link. And like Wade, the best deal I found was on Amazon. Even cheaper than Rockauto.
  15. Got the header panel, bumper, and fenders swapped out yesterday. The cowl induction hood will be on next week. It's getting there...slowly. And yes, I know that I have to realign the panels. ;)
  16. You're not the only one Brent. We've had a couple of health-related family crises this month. And exchanging gifts did not seem like the appropriate thing to do under the circumstances. But it is times like this that you understand the true meaning of Christmas. Having family and friends around is good enough for me. Merry Christmas!
  17. The dash lights are on the same circuit as the taillights. Do your taillights work?
  18. Got my hoodie today. Thanks again Brent.
  19. Never thought of that. :dunno: Done.
  20. January 15th, 1949 http://www.dailypilot.com/articles/2008 ... 102608.txt Thanks Wade. Were you bored today? ;) Sixty years ago. That's ancient history. :D
  21. I've haven't seen any other Comanches driving around Costa Mesa. :D How can you with all that snow? Mountain High is a ski resort a couple hours north of here. Costa Mesa is by the ocean. I don't think it's ever snowed here. :D
  22. I've haven't seen any other Comanches driving around Costa Mesa. :D
  23. Just got a tracking number for my hoodie. Thanks Brent.
  24. You should be able to get the broken bolt out with an extractor. And the torque spec for the valve cover is not very much. It's only 55 inch/pounds. So if you broke a bolt, then you are tightening them way too much.
