Well i went to put a new radio in the truck and when i tested the wires just to make sure everything worked, the wire for the memory that comes from the battery had no power but the wire from the ignition switch worked fine? so i checked the batt slot on the fuse box and got the same thing. Is there a fuse under the hood or a fuseable link i need to track down?

washed it finally

switched speakers and head units between the 67 and the comanche so the junky system is in the 67 for when it gets sold and the good system is in the jeep for now. now i just have to find a place to mount the amp and subs :dunno:

nope ive got 3.55's :ack: i want a bit more oomphf but i want to keep my mileage around the same and I'm still running stock tires. ill make sure to file that in my memory log :smart:

how much you want for the 8.8 with 3.73's? I'm brain dead this morning and can't remember if the perches need to be moved or not?

My bench puts my legs to sleep on trips longer than 5 hours..... i really want buckets but can never find any

I have never had good luck with searches. they search all the words in the posts so i just get a whole bunch of random posts even if i bracket the words or put them in parenthesis and it really doesnt help much because then i have to try and sift through everything.I think i "Common issues" thread that is closely watched so no "junk" posts get put in them is in the best order. It works really well on other forums i am a member of

that could be. i don't see why you would need em on a 350 unless you used them for the front axle wit hthe vaccum engage if your runnin that type. they kindof look like perticulate canisters to me so thats why i was curious

arent those particulate canisters on the fenders?

Why the smog stuff? i don't think you need it in your state, or do you? rip that stuff out and youl probably get better mileage and more power for sure

how would you wire up the tach to the coils on the mj's though? its not a typical cylinder coil like persay a pertonix flamethrower

i remember this from middle school. we used a s***t ton of egg carton foam pads, duct tape and to make it round so it doesnt hit a square surface rather the Kinetic energy gets used when it lands.

good ideas.... although i have never had a good chain fail. even yaking out 20,000lb tractors stuck to the cab. , tried pulling with a strap and all it did was strech, hooked up with my good chains, put it in 4-lo, dragged it out no problem.... I Think most people use crappy chains that are 20 years old and badly rusted. a good chain won't break. just my 2cents

Move to Montana then. During daylight hours there are stretches of highway where there speed limit is "reasonable and prudent". Seriously. :D exactly..i was doing 80 in a 65 last week and a cop got on the interstate behind me doing the same speed and didnt even bother me

just got back from a 1600 mile round trip..... 26mpg's at 70 mph, 21mpg at 70-75 going through the mountains, and 23mpg at 75-77.
