  1. yea yea yea. i figure ill get razzed since I'm the FNG for while. ive been exploring the topics for like the past 5 hours trying to get aquanted with the layout. Allot of the other forums i am on use this same forum layout so i am used to that.
  2. its an 88. Is there a dash that has a tach and idiot lights? or is that a shot at the moon?
  3. Is this something i should, I would imagine that after 250,000 miles the o-rings are getting shot. It would run me about 120 bucks, would it be worth changing? I think it would help my throttle response and MPG's since i can't afford to convert to MPFI.
  4. "you tell em I'm coming, and hell's coming with me"
  5. Napoleon Dynamite :D
  6. if someone did that to my 67 and i found out who, they would find a truck parked on their hood. I can't stand that stuff.
  7. so the wiring and everything is already there, i would just have to plug they new one in to the old plug in, and change the sensors?
  8. here's me with my pride and joy.. Image Not Found FFA Image Not Found My badass f250 Image Not Found
  9. Is it possible to run a tach with the module type coils that we have? cause i know normally you have to run a wire to the negative side of the coil, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that with this type. I'm sure it is do-able.
  10. i would just splice from trialer lights. would be much easier and less hassle
  11. Hey yall. I'm a noob here. found this place while trying to fugure out my clutch problem. here's mine 88 comanche sport truck. It actually has the new Ford powerstroke paint on it. I just recently put a new bed on it 2.5, 4-speed, 4.10's i usually get around 23-26 mpg, my best is 28 which i got going from Evanston, Wy-to Laramie Wy, with a 30mph tailwind. My future plans are to convert it to 4x4, either put a 4.0 or re-build the 2.5 since its got 250,000 miles on the origional engine. The only thing that has gone wrong is i popped a pushrod on the #4 cylinder. It actually does pretty good off road for only being a 2wd. 12. i already checked for leaks on the pushrod, so I'm guesing the o-rings are shot inside. ive got one ordered so I'm hoping that does the trick. I have to drive 2000 miles straight in about 2 weeks pullin a trailer. lol
  13. So ive got this weird problem with the clutch. When i first start out the truck sometimes i will have no clutch what so ever, but after driving for a little bit in town, i get it back, and some times when i shut it off, i lose it again, and sometimes it is fine. Other times when i first fire it up i have clutch and it is fine for a while then when i shift into reverse and back to first, i have none. The clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and slave cylinder are all fairly new, so the only thing i can think of is that i got some air in the line somehow or the master cylinder is going bad?
  14. yea ide come but i don't think 2wd would do to good
