  1. Does Lemforder make suspension parts for our MJ's?
  2. not sure if this would apply but did you disconnect the battery so the ecu can relearn and recognize the new tps?

  6. Not today but within the past week. Rebuilt T.B. O2 sensor CPS Tracked down a pair tire winch Degreased half the engine so far. Degreased entire air intake system. Refreshed under hood grounds. And vacumme lines are next.
  7. 288k original and stock. There was 6 years on the car check report that it was only driven 8k though. Probably the reason the 4 angry squirrels are still at work, although during that 6 year period, she must have spent a lot of time parked with the passenger side facing the sun cause that side is severely oxidized were as the drivers none at all.
  8. i have the same unused connector in my 87
  9. ok, so no sealer on the tb gaskets. next question, I'm doing new vacuum lines. which ones can i cap off and which can't i cap? right now i'm keeping MAP, vc to tb, brake booster, and ccv. do i need the others that run to and from the air box? forgot to mention, i did put a vc on her a few years back from i believe it was a 95 wrangler, it's the one WITH OUT the bosses in it. when cleaning the tb, the fitting that accepts the vac. hose from the fitting on the side of the vc was totally clogged. i know the flutes can be trimmed to reduce oil in the air box, would that also reduce the fitting on the tb from getting clogged?
  10. The issue is 37 years and 238k and drivability isn't what it was. I know I have sensor and and sensor wiring issues and pulling the tb makes the job easier, so I bought a rebuild kit and turns out my diaphragm was bad.
  11. Gasket sealer? YES? NO? ONLY CERTAIN ONES? If only certain ones, which ones? I know having sealer ooze into the throat is no good, but so is a vacuum leak. is the tb something that would wharp and need to be resurfaced? The old gaskets looked to have something holding them down but then again, could have just been 37 years of age.
  12. does the 4.0 specs talked about here carry over to the 2.5 as far as compatibility and changes made between the different years?
  13. looking for pigtails both male and female with a couple inches of lead on each for my O2, MAT, CTS, TPS, AND ICV.
  14. under hood, pass side under relay cover. should have yellow caps over them
  15. does not conect to anything. try putting the truck in reverse and give it a quick stab of the accelerator then brake.
  16. Thanks for the help.
  17. This is in regards to the fuel spitting up through the hole correct? If so, is the spring chamber in the fpr?
  18. gonna get into it this weekend. i'll geterdone
  19. tell me about it. i changed the cps and the old one says RENIX on it.
  20. cool, thank you
  21. i'm gonna say the H.G. is good due to the lack of cross contamination between fuel and coolant.
  22. SUPPOSED TO ONLY GO THROUGH INJECTORS. It is shooting up out of that hole in the pic above, like 4 or 5 inches straight up. what is that orifice's purpose? i can find nothing refering to it either on line or (now don't lol) in the haynes manual.
