Thank you! Did some searching on New Hampshire DMV website. 0IIII0 was taken. As was the other variations. I'm sure a flat fender owner would like it, but it's mine for now. -

As they say in New England ... Got a new Bumpah ... compliments of Frank the Dog. Pardon my poor photography skills ... it's straight, I blinked. -
I've seen new ones before ... of course, that was 30 years ago. There are a few threads in here showing some good results for different methods of restoration.

Big Ticket MJ - Johnstown PA
NHMJXJ replied to WahooSteeler's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Nice truck, but ... Jim Babish Auto Sales has the Jeeps, but they also ask ALL the money. When I was shopping for my current XJ they had several nice Cherokees. I have more time than money. If you're patient and ready to buy, you can still find a clean MJ or XJ and do your own thing for WAY less than the asking price of that truck. -
Sept 18, Eliminating the years! Ace's 91 Eliminator

Most definitely a worthy candidate for MJOTM ... Nice truck! -
Went to engage 4WD for the first time since getting my truck back … this happened. Not my truck. Found the pic online, but exactly what it looks like. The pointed shaft popped out. What's the fix, so it doesn't continue to happen?

That is a one nice looking rig.

Tailgate lettering from JeepSticker.com ... Follow the enclosed instructions or suffer the bubbles. BTW, same tailgate, just 15 minutes later and the sun was setting.

I can relate to that! Nice truck ... I bet someone will come through.

When I was young and foolish (now just old) I bought an entire header assembly (8pcs) from FEEbay … markers, grill, bezels … etc. Anyway, the header itself was injection molded plastic. Had I known, I would have ordered the 97-01 version and shaved/sanded the rounded portion to meet the line of the older fender. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Crown-Automotive-55055233AE-Header-Panel-Fits-97-01-Cherokee-XJ/153116943063?epid=140529247&hash=item23a67b22d7

I agree. The PILOT price point is better and they have LEDs at the end of the cylinder, not just wrapping it. The latter relies on the reflector to project the light instead of a beam. Actually, they all have DOT approved on the lens. The top one is a TruckLite, the bottom a CREE.

Amber Park Turn Signal Lamps ... They're darker than the marker lenses. I know, OCD right? Anyone know where I can get marker lenses to match?
-
Anyone have any recommendations for adhesive? I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I couldn't find it in a thread, so ... feel free to move this. My tailgate badge is in the wind somewhere. Picked up another off FEEbay and would like it to stick this time.

1988 Comanche Restoration Project

Yup, the bumper and the grill are upside down. -
I'm soooo OK with that. "FEEbay". Once upon a time when it was an "auction" site it was awesome, but now they poke you for everything. There's a lot of junk and "big box" items you can get anywhere. Don't know if it's a "front", but it wouldn't surprise me.

I love how you can take it swimming! 1:50/2:31

Words of wisdom. Stay with it Don … you can do it. The difference between smoking and not smoking, is not lighting up. I too was a heavy smoker for decades. Many unsuccessful attempts to quit. A positive diagnosis for bladder cancer 9 years ago was a motivator. Lots of nasty BCG treatments before undergoing total cystectomy with reconstruction for neobladder. It's as bad as it sounds. Quit … YESTERDAY. Or sooner.
