  1. Really sorry to hear this. This is one of those cases where I think a law suit is necessary. :fs1: Keep us posted. Your in all of our thoughts!
  2. Just something to check, it is the fist thing I check when I have idle issues. check your oil level. If it is over filled it will cause a rough idle. Just a thought as I have seen it MANY times before.
  3. If your not selling them then why is your Mj and that XJ plastered all over the website towing those trailers? It is a nice camper but I would only be willing to pay 3000 new for a base model. And that price is still 2x the cost of my MJ.
  4. Check on page 3 http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5589&hilit=crew+cab http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6147&p=59794&hilit=crew#p59794
  5. yeah, that is a nice "CREW" Comanche. Other pics of it have showed up on here somewhere. Ill see if I can find it.
  6. If your talking about your fuel pump? I personally think that its a myth that it will whine when going out. My last 2 pumps on my truck had no whining or signs of going out, they just quit one day. My new (3rd) pump has been whining since day 1 and has never shown any problems. Also, my 92 XJ that I had years ago whined from the day I bought it to the day my sister crashed it and the pump never gave out. If your talking about the clicking of the blower fan, mine will only do it when the engine is off so idk why yours would be making that noise with the engine on
  7. I remember Jeepco's bro's rack, It was quite interesting, I liked it. But I think it was made from a few Yakima drip rail mount racks with the basket on top, not a stock rack.
  8. yep, that is what I was going to suggest, mine has been doing it with engine off and fan on since I got it but I haven't been worried about it.
  9. I wonder, would it look good to get a XJ roof rack, cut it down and put it on an MJ?
  10. I think that what he is referring to is that on the newer cars (both my f250 f/r and Ranger front seats had these) when you pull the belt ALL the way out and then let it retract it turns on a ratcheting function to keep the belt from loosening. Once the belt is retracted all the way, the ratchet turns off and it turns into a regular inertia belt again. But the rear seats in my 00 ranger were all ratchet all the time. Kind of annoying.

    2WD Rant

I think that automatic tire chains are the answer.
  12. Send me the artwork to James750@gmail.com (or PM me) Ive been in the sign industry for over 10 years now and in the sticker (vinyl lettering) side of it for 3. I can probably bring something up!

    HEY PETE...

    WTF mate? :clapping:
  14. Oh, and this has been driving me nuts for months, can you make links open in a new window/tab?
  15. Good idea Jeepco. I got to thinking about it last night and with a little bit more programming, Ill be able to do the front, back or sides in 3d out of signfoam.
  16. I prefer duo servo drums in the rear rather than disc. If it were single servo (non self energizing) it would be a different story though. I will be putting a XJ 8.25 into the MJ soon and since I have to move that perches anyway I will be going with a SOA setup to get the lift.
  17. I'd like to do that but I am having a friend set up the axles as I don't have a welder. He only has a 110v welder and will have to go up to Boulder to use a 220v welder to finish burning the perches on.
  18. Anyone have a confirmed measurement? I want to get this done right the first time so I don't have to cut and grind more than once. Thanks for the help so far!!! :wavey:
  19. Are freightliner, Dodge, and Mercedes affiliated with each other though? The caravan sharing many names makes sense b/c all of its other names are still under Chrysler.
  20. WTF is with the sprinter vans. I have now seen it under three different manufacturers; Dodge sprinter, Mercedes Benz sprinter, and the newest that I saw tonight, Freightliner sprinter. They are all the exact same vehicle except the manufacturer emblem, even the model emblem is the same. SO, anyone have the story on what is with that is with that? :dunno: This has been bothering me for quite some time now.
  21. Does anybody here know the measurement between the spring perches on the rear axles of our MJs? Trying to find out where I need to move the perches on the XJ axle.
  22. I'm pretty sure some MJs came factory with vinyl floors. Ill get some pics tomorrow
  23. I would get a new carpet from Motion (MOR). If it were me I would get a vinyl floor. I LOVE mine. I have a leak on my passenger side weatherstripping but none of it can get past the floor so I just dry it with towels after it gets wet. AND, when I got my MJ and lifted the carpet up, absolutely NO rust. Not too many on here that can say that, and I think it is because of the vinyl floor.
  24. EDIT: Answered my own question.
  25. If its really THAT easy I think I'm gonna go get those seats.
