  1. there might be a jeep somewhere in the pic, i'm not sure. also, my background changes every 30 minutes.
  2. my repair kit includes an old bike tire, bailing wire, duct tape and a rather large screwdriver..
  3. Steve, Is it too late to send you my visors to be redone?
  4. Hey guys, started having this problem yesterday. When I was driving I hit a bump and my radio cut out and I started to hear a clicking noise somewhere in the cab (sounded like behind the glove box). A while later I noticed my turn signals not working, and the display for the radio was cutting in and out, but there was no sound. Today I noticed some play in my ignition while it was running, so I jiggled it while at a red light, I heard more clicking noises from near the glove box. The radio display came back on, and I had turn signals again. It has been cutting in and out since then, but no other electrical has been affected. I still have lights outside the truck and on the dash/console. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it a problem with the ignition or something worse?
  5. i'd buy one if it came in rusty red to match my truck, you see them on craigslist once in a while around here.
  6. Everyone around here thinks its a Mazda. i just shake my head and point at the J.E.E.P. on the nose.

  9. Feels better and better to live in California. all the rust I have is on the passenger side drip rail and on the bed where the previous owner did a bad job installing rails.
  10. the only other vehicles i've owned were a 89 cherokee that i did an engine and trans swap on, and a 97 ford contour. looking back, i wouldn't trade the mj for either of them, the cherokee had a rattle i could never quite pin down, and the ford.. was a ford.
  11. good one, Jim. i'll remember that for the next time mine goes out.
  12. had Luis and Clark equiped their boats with Jeep 4.0L engines instead of oars, it would have been a much faster trip.
  13. Well, today it was in the mid 60s here, so we were bbqing, building an engine for one of my brothers friends, and went to my nephews baseball game.
  14. Steve, I wish that I could deal with more people like you on a regular basis. I tried doing a little shaving on my headliner to get it to fit, but never thought to get out a tape measure. I'd be happy to cover the shipping cost of a replacement headliner. email inbound.
  15. Red - I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a gray place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free.
  16. 3.83 yesterday. it'll probably be 4.50 tomorrow.
  17. I don't see what the dam problem is, if the rain washed the dam thing away, there is no dam obstruction.
  18. That... truly is a thing of beauty.
  19. Replaced the cat and muffler. thing was so full of holes it sounded like a rice rocket. It was my first time welding in a while, so i'm waiting to see if it falls apart on my way to work tomorrow.
  20. visor... split window... tailgate....
  21. good man.
  22. Got the headliner yesterday, having same issue it seems everyone else is having. hoping it will relax in time and i can stretch it out. the passenger side is fine, though.
