You guys are correct I took the TB spacer out and it fixed the problem. It was pulling the throttle cable causing the high idle.

I tightened it down real well and everything should have been plugged back in but checking wouldn't hurt.

swapped volvo 743 injectors into my truck today along with a throttle body spacer. After installing both items my ideal was ridiculously high. It was around 4500 rpms and after a couple starts it looked like one of my coolant hoses broke a little and was leaking. I have no clue what to do I tried resetting the computer but that didn't do anything. Everything got plugged back in, in the right spot. What are things I could do. I have a renix 4.0L

I got a 12+ hour drive back home from Montana tommow. The only I would say to do that I always do is check all the fluids real quick and fill accordingly.

I do agree with 1 and 2. I felt as though something like this was going to happen. They put it in place so that the BCS championship game wouldn't end up like the ND vs Bama championship. But you are going to have people that are upset that they aren't in it.

I know one of my friends who goes to TCU is really mad about them not getting in and blaming it upon OSU being the bigger more well known school, money, blah blah blah. My personal opinion is I think Colorado should go to the playoffs. :laughin: In all reality I haven't been keeping up too much with College football due to not having a TV. If TCU is really mad about not making it in then they can take it out on Ole Miss and show everyone that they did deserve the chance. And vise versa OSU can show everyone they deserved the #4 spot and beat or at least compete with bama. Either way the games will be exciting to watch no matter who is playing. As long as AFA wins and CSU I really couldn't care about the outcome of any of the other bowl games... maybe UCLA a little too.

I agree with shelbyluvv. Fountain is a very nice area. Really anywhere along the front range is nice. Yes there are some more undesirable areas but you can't avoid that no matter where you go. Personally I'd stay north or west of Denver but that's just me. If you are looking south of Denver Fountain would be a good spot to start your search.

It's a D44 rear. It was in the tow package between 87-90.

You could get the steering off a ZJ. Drag link is the same but the tie rod is thicker and stronger. I believe it bolts up. I'll be doing it once I get back to Colorado and have time.

There is no carrier split I believe. I can't help you regarding brakes.

The AMC Model 20 in the XJ and MJ never had two-piece axle shafts. That's what I was saying

What I've read is both weak or strong. Everything I've read though says that they need a truss. The weak side seems to be coming from people who had to two piece axle shaft version found on CJs. The MJ version is stronger due to not having the 2 piece. The real downfall much like the C8.25 is lack of after market support. They sound like decent axles just need a little bit put into them first.

I got mine from northerntool. It is way better then the plastic one that was on when I got the truck.

Got some in the mountains just enough to make it slick. I cruised around a little bit today. Wish there was some more snow but I can wait about a week or two for a little more snow.
