  1. Wilkkomen! Errr, wrong country. Hola! Have a seat on the tan couch, Chico's on a beer run, should be right back. I hope so, I'm thirsty again for some reason. :D
  2. Pete, thanks for nothing jackass! Now you've added another meaningless, time-consuming internet addiction to my life. As if CC and eBay did not take enough of my free time. I stopped at the My Women one. Hilarious but also pretty cool at the end.
  3. Pete, any way you can repost the pics with callouts to where the mods were made?
  4. Not specific to MOR's springs, but this thread may help too. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopi ... ht=#113830
  5. :teehee: :jump:
  6. Since there has never been a clear answer, that I know of, as to what audio combination came with the 3 1/2" dash speakers, I'm gonna make a guess. I would bet that if you ordered the AM thumper, you got the pair of 3 1/2" dual-cone dash speakers. If you stepped up to the AM/FM Stereo-phunkadelic unit, you got the 5 1/4" door speakers (no dash speakers). If you blew out your monthly payment by checking off on the AM/FM Cassette, you got the 4 speaker deal with the addition of the 4x6s in the rear (and yes, they were 4x6s, never 3" or 4" round speakers). One variation to this crystal ball session may be that if you got just the AM/FM you may have gotten both the dash and door speakers. I mean, why would they bother with the dash speakers if they only used them under one scenario? Plus, it seems like a logical progression of upgrades: pair of small dash speakers, 4 speakers with 5 1/4s and 3 1/2s, and finally 4 speakers with 5 1/4s and 4x6s. Just my $.05's worth.
  7. Even if yours is a DD, there always seems to be a good deal on some used tires, either local or on Jeepforum.com, just a thought.
  8. JT DeSigns, glad sHe won the makEover. It Seems to Have made bOTh of you happy!! I can't beLIeve, you Know, hE (Chico) would saY such things. MMMM!an, that's not cool. :D
  9. Well, obviously I assume the sand was to be the "traction" component like in the name brand liners, but all that would do on that concoction IMO is give enough traction to make it peel off faster LOL!!
  10. I wasn't gonna say anything about the 258 comments etc because I figured what I assumed (that I didn't think those had 258s) was wrong because someone truly in the know would point that out almost immediately. But what really caught my eye was not only the fact it was an auto, but the shifter looked like it was right out of a Cherokee.
  11. Chico, Ebert's dead. Fat boring bastard that he was. Nice job. :chillin: Siskel is dead. Ebert is still alive but lost his voice to cancer. Willy I guess that shows what an impression they both made on me. :D
  12. I'm sorry but that is one of the funniest things ever sounds like a prank or something. lol sorry Pete not making fun of you sounds like somthing I would try. :laughin: Make all the fun you want, it was a bonehead move for sure. I'm not the only person to think of it though. A few months ago I was able to discourage someone from trying the very same thing. Life is all about passing on knowledge. I wonder who that was.... :D :thwak: :dunce: JT, you so crazy!
  13. that's cool, at least he was realistic. when i saw it still hadn't met his reserve at $3750 i figured he had some number in his head like the $7k on craigslist.
  14. i haven't looked at it today, did it clear his reserve?
  15. Happy for ya Antwan, but secretly I was hoping you would pass! :brows: Let me know if you get cold feet LOL!!
  16. Chico, Ebert's dead. Fat boring bastard that he was. Nice job. :chillin:
  17. 1001 HP and I believe torque in the 800 range, I can't remember. When they were building the prototype they wanted to break a 1000HP, hence the 1001. It took several visits back to the engineering drawing board to accomplish it and still make it drivable, i.e. not just cranking up the boost for peak HP. I didn't watch the video so I don't know if it gave any specs on it, sorry if I'm repeating any of it here. Anyway, top speed in excess of 250mph. Interesting you posted this because they just announced they are going to build a topless one. Not a convertible because there is no space in the car to stow the top, so it's just a removable hardtop. Oh, and the price? Add a half mil to that $1.7 for the coupe. That's a measely $2.2 million
  18. Antwan, good to see you're still around. Funny, you just sold the MJ and now you're looking at this old dog? Can't get it out of your blood can ya? LOL, hell yeah you should! And if you don't, let me know cuz that very well could finally get me down to L'burg. That could be a great day: get to meet you, go see that guy's private MJ collection you told me about a year ago, pick up that bad ole 715, and celebrate with a few beers and a Cheesy all the way, a bowl with, and a glass of the James at the Texas Inn! Does it run? Any other issues you know of? Jeepco, that ugly ole cab is what MAKES the 715 so cool brotha! :D
  19. yeah, it's a re-listing, it was just on there a couple of weeks ago i think. 28mpg?? :rotfl2:
  20. ....or you just need a new/used wiper motor. new ones are out there for as little as $50. fyi, there are a couple of guys on here who are parts specialists for Jeep dealers. one is BLHTAZ and the other, , I don't remember his screen name but hopefully he will identify himself. Point being, they are your best source, IMHO, to check for factory availability of parts first, if that is important to you, and will extend you the best discount they can if you buy. simply put, they are an awesome resource and great guys who try to help whenever they can. oh, and welcome.......beers in the fridge! post pictures!!!!
  21. 9/16" x 8" is what you'll need
  22. I think you could get some sound proofing by lining the cab floor and firewall, but I think you'd have to go the spray in route to ensure you got adequate thickness. You might be able to do 2-3 applications of roll-on and get some decent thickness, enough to provide a noticeable drop in road noise IMO. If you look on the spray on brands website's, I believe on of them has a product that is formulated for that purpose.
  23. Wow! I saw where you said you got a "new" starter, but I ASSumed there was more to getting her running again. Congrats!
