Well, the barrel went up almost $5 yesterday, or roughly 10%, and sure enough, one of the 3 stations in our little price war actually went up to 1.52 from 1.43 this a.m. The other 2 are still at 1.41 and 1.42.

Ok, on the way home Monday night, the little 3-station gas war was at $1.51. This morning on the way in it was $1.45. Tonight on the way home it was...............$1.41. And I can fill my car up with premium for $32. Wicked cool. :banana:

For me, it's just how the overall look comes together, on any car or truck. On that MJ, to start with, it needs to be a long bed to add some more proportion to it. But ,those wheels just don't work on that truck as it is, i.e. it's an incomplete build IMO. If its gonna run those wheels, it needs more bling so the wheels are not so dominant. It needs a chrome roll/light bar, chrome push bar, chrome bumpers etc. IMO so the wheels just kinda "blend in". I still wouldn't love it, but I'd probably be ok with it vs. hate it. But seriously, for ME, the real killer is the pink coils and longarms. Again, on certain rigs the pink might actually work if there was other places of pink on it, but it would still depend on the overall package. I've said before and I'll say it again, quoting Mr. Miagi (Karate Kid): "Daniel-son, yooou need-a balance. Alllllways need-a balance." So it's not just size or design, it's the total package. Ironically, one of your first pics of other rigs is a Brute with those same wheels, and I dig it on that truck. It's black, it's got other accessories on it, and the tires (as most have said here) are properly proportioned. And no pink. Or purple like Zoolander's LOL........ :D

Broke the $1.50 barrier this a.m. ----------- $1.49 WOW! Premium is only $1.69! But, diesel still at $2.89, that's BS. I went back through some of the posts to see where and when it peaked to compare to where we are now. MiniBeast (where's he been lately??!!) started the thread in March when fuel spiked up over $3. I seemed to top out right around the end of July at just under $4 as an average I'd say, with SW2 posting up a $4.47 for 87 octane as a high mark. And then it looks like around September that prices began to fall. It's interesting to see posts of guys filling up for $3.10, $3.05 or $2.99 and being ecstatic. But since that represented a 25% "savings" from the peak, we were all happy. But I dare say ANYONE would have placed a bet that @90+ days after the peak that we'd be less than HALF of that price. Truly, who could even imagine that we'd be that far under $2..............THAT FAST. Which means, enjoy it while it lasts, it's that volatile.

I was flipping through an Auto Trader this weekend and saw a TJ with 22's. Looked stupid enough as it was, but had virtually no lift, low-pro tires and probably had a turning radius of 100ft because there is no way they could turn more than half way w/out serious rub.

The Fins have been playing well and Pennington is capable of putting up big numbers. But, you should be starting Muhammad every week. He will consistently get you 7-12 pts and the Panthers are playing well, plus most of the attention is on Steve Smith.

not bad! actually, i could get JEEP TRK, there is enough space available. you get 8 spaces in VA, but one of them has to be blank or have a dash in it. **just checked, JEP TRK, JEEP TRK, and JP TRUCK are all available. Also thought of another similar one that is available, JPMJ TRK.

Loved your Yenko Camaro pick, can't pass that one up. Didn't they have a few other sweet rides? A 427 Impala I think? I'd also have to pick up an original Shelby Cobra, anything that Smokey Yunick (sp?) touched, and a '69 Chevelle 396. That would just get me started. Oh, and definitely a GTO. I would however, have to pull a Biff Tannen and take a sports history book back with me and a few hundred bucks to ensure my financial future! :brows:

Hey Flintstone, OUT-STANDING looking truck. Really nice. The 29s (235s) fit it perfect, and those are some nice tires. As you've figured out I'm sure, I love nice wheels but IMO it looks excellent with those stock steelies, particularly because of your black and grey paint job. Did you say this was a recent acquisition? We're kinda nosy around here, so if you are ok with it we'd like to know more details about the truck and what you paid for it. Oh, and more pics please! :cheers:
