Wow how cool was the Muppet's...

That would actually act the other way. Higher vacuum at idle, lower at higher RPM's :hmm: OK...I'm intrigued. Are you saying that there is stronger vacuum at idle than there is at say 2500 RPM? :dunno: Yes sir.. let me explain why... Your engine is basically a big 'ol pump right.. so air coming in the throttle body,, through head,, and out the tailpipe.. OK, so when your at idle your throttle is what?? Closed right,, but your engine is still sucking air, but from where??? Well it'll come in at the CCV, AIC, Brake booster fitting, and the Vac port.. So when the throttle closed the engine is still sucking causing vacuum. :clapping: Same thing if your running high RPM and WFO then let off the throttle alot of vacuum is produced.

Diesels don't have throttle plates. Oh yeah,, for the CRD project... How many RPM would it have to step up too? -

Get you a small 12V solenoid hook it to your throttle linkage, so when you hit the switch it pushes the throttle open a bit. -
Yelp,, I have one of those kits spliced into my hear hose..
-
Get a thermo from the dealer,, then flush your coolant system,, including the hear core..

Kinda sounds like mushroom tea...

Just look for the air cleaner,, the 2.8 V6 is on top of the engine.. The 4.0 I6 is on the left front behind the headlight. You'll see a longggg valve cover on top with the 4.0 the 2.8 will have two valve covers on each side of the carb.

I'll add one too... Screwdrivers.. Every time your looking for a Straight all you'll find are Philips,, as when looking for a Philips all you'll find are Straights

Yes, I know that. The intake I was thinking of buying has an HO intake with it. Thats what my second question was referring too. I was asking about auto or manual TB. Doesnt the auto TB have extra brackets for the throttle cable and stuff that the manual does not have. The auto has a TV , kickdown cable for the tranny. And the renix tps has another set of outputs for the tranny..

Don,, what do you have the rear pump going too?? Headlights like a benz??? I mean you are the "benz" guy right???
-
Yeah thinking more about clear... I mean he!! who shoots acrylic anymore??? I do all the time. I like it too.. :teehee: But its harder to fix if you mess up. I wouldnt shoot it on anything custom or "nice" but it does take a beating.. But, theres other paints out there that take a beating better. And if you can't shoot acrylic to be glossy without runs stay away from it.. I can fix a run it poly before or after it dries,, but acrylic is a different story. Rich what plans do you have to paint this truck??? You going to spray it yourself?
-
Basically all those supports are, are gas struts you'd find on suv's rear hatches.. I know Tein makes a kit, but its outrageous what they charge for it.

lol.. that made me chuckle... -
It has two hooks on top,, either A you have to push it to the front or, b to the rear so itll come off.. I'd just take the fender off.. its to easy to do...
-
Yeah it has a full rear pack.. See thats the thing its pretty cheep.. I mean I might take this Jeep off road now and again. Nothing crazy, but I do lots of camping and I might gain from it, vrs lose from at least not giving it a shot..... arggggggggggg :fs1:
