You could find a 3rd brake light from a 95 Dakota tailgate and mold it in.

Relocating the Heater/AC Control???
jtdesigns replied to Catatonic Comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yeah I know, but it should be our choice to let it do that.. All my Honda's have the switch and I only use it when its really humid out. Most the time in the cold morning it only needs warm air. -
Something hitting my underbody

My XJ has a loose trac bar and it bangs around sounds like poop. Think it could be something it the front, just sounding like something behind the cab? -
If you care about her go with a good set of Michelin HydroEdges.

The header was cracked. The grill was too. I'll get any items you want, but it's going be a while till I go back.. don't worry about them gettign picked through. They don't let people walk in the yard and pick through stuff.. I just happened to know the owners family. I'll have to get a request list for when I go back. PM me what any needs. Very good looking wheels. Had all the centers too. Hey thanks for the bumper end caps!

Relocating the Heater/AC Control???
jtdesigns replied to Catatonic Comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I was looking at a Dodge Dakota and they have a real small AC control. Also vac operated.. Might get one of those and make it fit better.. Years 91-96 I think. The Dakota also uses a AC push button switch which I wish the Jeeps did.. I hate having the AC turn on when you switch to defrost. -
I yanked on it a tad bit.. I didnt do much, I hurt my back really bad yesterday, so I just kinda walked around looking. I will go back when I have some money and get some things off both. I was going to grab them too.. If your in bigger need of them though I can wait for the next set. Thats one piece I asked a price on and really need off it. That set-up looks exactly the same as the XJ's. I was going to grab it. I took that picture just for you SW. I knew you were looking for one a while ago of how everything mounted up. That would be nice.. Not sure what gears it would have. It was 4x4 and 5spd with a 2.8V6 in it. Next time I get some money I'll be going back there for some Isuzu Rodeo stuff, the tailgate, tails, some of the black plastics, and a few more things off the red one.

What you need is someone to get you some measurements of the newer grill.. Then you can compare.. I don't think it'll look right because our old trucks have kinda triangle a profile and the 97-up is flat... You could start by flipping your grill around the right way,, and you might think it'll look better. You know its upside down right?

I bought my 89 MJ for $250, I bough a 91 civic for $200, I bought my 94 Prelude SI with a H22 swap for $800. All of them ran well after a lil tinkering. I just bought a 96 XJ classic 4x4 for $700 and only thing I've done to it is take it to a dealer to have a cat replaced under recall. I'm DD'ing the XJ now. I also picked up a really sweet 3 ton floor jack in Jan for 15 bucks.. Yeah I run into alot of deals,,,,,,,,,,,,BUT the thing is having the cash at the right time to buy them..
