Did you get one of those train horns?? crazy loud!!! The stock steering wheel horn switch is based on a ground fault. You push the button and it corrects to ground making the horn honk. It only uses one wire. The dome light are switches in them self. You have to rotate them in their sockets to turn on. They rock in place kinda.. Really cheaply made I think. I had to tweek my to get them to work. Just pry them out and a little careful cleaning at the contacts and they shine brite now!!

lol.. I don't know about that ... I have some teacher that won't even allow Wiki to be a resource. It's mainly because anybody can add, or edit it. I was hoping some of the old timers here might have something they remember or have heard..

I'm sitting here laughing thinking " I wonder how many people will read this thinking it some kind of new paint or chemical something... Truth is, we were having a heated debate in one of my classes today, and one student started in on something about American concentration camps. He called it a government project set aside in the early 80's called REX-84. Anybody here heard about this?? It was also said that the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) had installed in it to be able to use deadly force on any American that rebelled against any proceedings or law set at deemed times of security. Giving them up most power to do whatever they wanted; like take all your weapons, land, assets, ect.. These camps are military bases turned into prisons. So.......... Any thought's?? :USAflag:

Arrr-mate ,,, this is a hi-jack,,, arrrrrrr sorry to pull a little off topic, but are fender flares factory painted? -
You have to find a host for pictures. I use photobucket Comanche Club Image Hosting Make an account then download the pictures to it. when you have the picture loaded onto photobucket, look for something called IMG code. click it and it auto copies but I always right click and copy again. then right click in your reply and paste... all done,, just preview then submit!

corner and bumper lights
jtdesigns replied to jtdesigns's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I know what your talking about.. I just took my driving lights off,, I really just needed to replace one bulb, but I couldn't for the life of me get the retaining rim off... I just removed them, and beat the rings off. I did both so I can take them to the bead blaster and repaint them. the left light was fine little rust, but the right....... I may have to replace it.... I saw some brand new OEM lights on ebay, I should of bid. I knew that someone with more funds wouldn't stop for anything to getr them.. I think they went for like 76 bucks! They even had the jeep covers with them. can't wait for those pictures!!! I really wouldn't mind switching over to the late model front end though.. I esp like the late model doors without vents.. -
\ yeah but not as much air as it did before. what do your plugs look like?

This is a snap shop of my screen when I'm signed in. As you can see the little envelope on the far right beside the op's name. This is what I would like to see, it makes it 100% easier to track what you have posts in... Juat an idea..... The red arrows point to the topics I have posts in. Image Not Found

P/S pump modification
jtdesigns replied to DirtyComanche's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
I was always told to bleed the steering by turning the wheel lock to lock 40 times without the engine running..IDK if that is true or not just a thought.. and one more thing.. you finger nail called and said not to let you have anymore hammers! :D -
2.5l+man = 4.10 Would this hold true for a 86 with the 4 banger?
-
So it would be more like 9mm? or .3550
-
LMAO,,, True so true.... but its all I have for right now,, It better last me at least till tax returns!!!
-
Is a 3/8's extension actually 3/8ths? 10mm is about 25 thousandths larger then 3/8ths
-
IDK if removing the center console then removing the shift tower would be easier then just removing the plug... I have a handy little pump I use for stuff like that..( Thanks Uncle Sam!! ) How do you know your full or too full? I though you filled it till it started leaking out the hole,,,, Besides I'm a lazy @$$,, I'd rather lay down and fill it (plus it gets me out of wife chores if I'm under the truck!! )

I think I'm going to make a key for the fill plug on the puke.. I know alot of you's just grind down a 3/8th extension, but I'm difficult...... Does anybody have the dimensions on the plug?? Maybe some one has one near they could put a caliper on?? I need the width side to side and depth. I'll just mill it a .001 or more over near the base so it will kinda wedge in. Thinking Stainless will work best,,, but aluminum would be quicker to make.
