  1. Thanks for the pictures!! What is that black box on the right? Is that the brake light switch? Mine doesn't look like that. Also does your clutch spring attach to a round bar dash support looking thing?
  2. yours might be because the release is worn. but the rubber bumper is right here.... Image Not Found
  3. True, as Mencia would say,, Duh, De, Duhhhhh.... So many decisions to make so little cash to make them,,,lol
  4. I was just think'n it would be nice to have rear discs
  5. How about swapping the isuzu 44's axles for some with a 5 on 4 1/2 ?? Think it'd work out?
  6. I think its 92-up xj's system right?
  7. Yeah I think I'll just stick with the 35 for now. Redo the drums and keep a eye out for a 44. I have a isuzu 44 but it has 6 lugs and I like my stock bullet holes.
  8. Not just a plug 'n' play thang humm.. The only thing I'm worried about is the offset at the pumkin. Is it the same offset on the mj something like 2 3/16', and the shorter width. So if i run stock wheels I'll need 5/8" spacers?
  9. OK nevermind then... I'll just go the up top way in.
  10. I forgot about that route.. may be a winner,, at least she will be able to sit down while she pours that honey out , I may put her under the rig and have her hollar when it starts pouring over her head. :brows: hehe
  11. Hey over21and think you can get a picture up of the fill plug????
  12. Yeah I saw a post about this not to long ago. I just hope I get the right plugs removed. That whole post confused the hell out of me when everybody started in on well its this plug no its this plug,,,blah,blah,blah... I'll have to rig some sort of pump for the oil too. may just get a long a$$ tube with a funnel and have the lady fill as I hold it in the hole.
  13. I saw your post earlier I'm pretty sure mine is the crap tranny... sucks! DC, I know like most trannys make a kinda of wining noise. To be honest you'd just have to drive it to see what I'm talking about. The truck is kinda jerky and just wines and is crap in my book. I hope the oil is low and I'll fill it and hope for the best.....
  14. So like it says I have a bad whining in reverse. I haven't checked the oil in tranny yet but I did in the rear and was good. It sounds like I bad bearing but IDK. How can I tell what tranny I have when under there? I believe it's the "pukegoat" but is there any markings I need to look for?
  15. If I wanted to swap this axle in my 89 2wd mj, what all would I have to look for in the yard? Is it plug and play?
  16. I figured you were talking about tires but I had to put my imagination goggles on and couldn't help it... 8)
  17. I asked a few questions a while back about hooking up a Hydro booster on a mj. What did yours come off of? Please keep me informed on what all you do to get it working! I may do this too.... jt
  18. Wildman Thanks alot!! I know a spring went somewheres on that mech.!! Thanks again for the picture next to the tape measure too, that will make it super easy to find one at the hardware store!! Think that rubber bumper is still available from the dealer?
  19. HAHA !! Yeah I guess I'll just get a dimension on the hole and go a'searching.
  20. I found a CMC u pull it in Beech Island SC... so there is another one in Columbia?
  21. Never really there........but I do have one. http://www.myspace.com/jtdesigns
  22. I didn't know if the clutch spring was right or not because one end went to a hole in the lever, but it was attached to what looked like a bar that supported the dash. Where does the e-brake spring go? I was about to drill me a hole , but I thought I might have some luck here. I didn't see anywhere the spring would go...
  23. Sounds good. Yeah Colombia is about 2 hours from me, Where is CMC at? You haven't strip all the parts from there have you?
  24. Man, I have close relatives in Farmville and Phoenix (spellin??) Next time I'm up there I'll def let you know! It's about a 4 hour drive to Farmville, then I guess about a hour or so to Richmond.
