  1. I liked the yellow/blk striped mj with the 5.0 in it!! quote of the day... "Listen to your spotter!!" lol
  2. crazy fool.... but it looked like fun!!!!
  3. lol yeah that exactly what I was thinking
  4. :shake:
  5. Is a rather large switch huh... shoot a pic of your rear slider.. It was you that got the power slider ,,, right?? :hmm: Err, not really. I just used the existing mounting hole in the dash that the XJ rear defroster switch fits in, and used it to trigger a relay. So you do have a power rear slider???
  6. :agree: It's just wrong. The bad thing about it is it's not just lead but other chemicals too. I heard something about China not allowing wood being shipped into their country. We have to use steel or another type of metal/plastic. While they ship everything in wood. I mean its like we're giving them our resources to have our kids, our future poisoned.
  7. OK now that explains alot then.....:D j/k'n You know, what you said makes alot of sense. I'm sure we all rode in the rear deck before.... I don't remember a car seat either, but then again those cars were humongous, and built like a tank. I guess I've calmed down a little .... 8) nahhhh this is BS We need to make a stand. Who was it that said "You got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything." It's just that Christmas is around the corner, and I'm having issues about what I'm going to do. I don't want to let my kids down but I don't want to kill them by having them poisoned by some toy.
  8. America's workforce can't compete with forced labor....esp when its children. It just makes me so mad that we support all of that by buying a happy meal... I went through my 3 kid's toys and the only thing I saw that wasn't made outside the U.S. was a freebie I had as a kid. I got an e-mail from a friend that had the posted link in it.. checked it out and was awe-struck..... I don't believe the jive about "mistakingly overlooked" especially when some of the chemicals included GHB a horse tranquilizer... All I ask is for anybody who gives a hoot ,,,,,,,, NOT to buy Chinese if all possible.
  9. Think synthetic will quieten down reverse in my ba/10??
  10. To me this $#!& is .... well theres no words I express the anger..... http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/category/toy.html AMERICANS WAKE UP! ......................... Why the HE|| can't I go get my daughter a bottle that says "MADE IN USA" or anything from WALMART that says it too?????????????? This country saddens me... I'm going off grid..... :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: :headpop:      :headpop:  :headpop:  :hateputers: :hateputers: :headpop:     :headpop:  :hateputers:  :headpop:  CHINA ------ LOL KISS MY A$$
  11. I'm with you wakka... My dad gave me his old beater truck, a 62 Chevy longbed. I didn't take care of it and it ended up as being parted out then crushed.. First thing I bought on my own was a 78 CJ7 with a Chevy 283 power pack engine, it had tsl 15-35-15 super swawpers with 4" RC springs a T176 with a dana 300, Spun 3 hubs and twisted a drive shaft in two before the crank broke. That was when I was 16 now I'm 31 and just sold the dana 300 to a friend for his jeep when I bought the ecco rims for my mj. But my first real 4x4 was a 84 toy 4 runner.... Man I miss that truck.. 4:10 solid axles with a wide track rearend swapped in. only had a lil 22R but that thing would crawl anywhere. I swear the ratio was like 8 to 1 in low. Sold it  b4 I went to Bragg for basic. Now my whips are a 96 JDM H22A Prelude, 96 Rodeo, and my newest addition to the family my 89 2wd Eliminator that I stole for 250. Got more than that in it already.. Wow talk about a trip down memory lane...
  12. Yeah those double walled manifolds are really thick and smooth, but that picture looked like coolant went straight into that thing. As for twin's, how much psi you running now? You could do a remote turbo somewhere down line in the exhaust, or run a blower. A centrifugal type of SC like a Paxton in front of your main turbo. That would give you low end boost and double your turbos output; eliminating lag.
  13. all yeah another thing is the coolant flowing through the exhaust manifold? And what kind of brake booster is that? looks like GM..
  14. nice !! I checked that forum dealing all about swapping the engine. I'm glad to see alot of discussions on Bio-Diesel. I'm doing a long report on Bio-Diesel and I have already found alot of info about blends. I I do have a request for pictures on your diesel rig.... Think you could get pictures up of the intercooler and how it mounts???
  15. What's the orange in the top of the corner? That, I think, is the bulb. They are amber because the lens is clear. Trick I learned for orange bulbs is to lightly mist them with silver spray paint. Sitting, they look silver, but powered on they are def orange. huh... thats pretty good idea...

  20. your truck isn't pre-wired for it, it's all lay-in stuff though. you need the complete door and crossover harness(es) from a 2 door cherokee with power windows. get those, lay them in, attach the switch panels. you will need a power window regulator and motor from a 4 door cherokee front door for each side. it is a plug and play system, but like I said, w door is the system you want. cut out the rear hatch harness from the cherokee harness, re-wrap the wiring, and ta-da it works. the 4 door system has 2 extra switches and wiring that will need to be cut out, since you don't have rear doors. I've done this, but elected to do just the power windows, not the power door locks. I used a 2-switch window controller panel from a RHD XJ passenger side door for my drivers door, and rear 4DR single switch panel for the passenger side door. Makes for a neater install w/o all the extra switches. The 4-door wiring harness is good to have only for the molded switch connectors that mate to the window switches. For regulators I used the XJ front door Electric Life kit; the XJ regulators have a very bad problem with longevity, and they are slow as hell. I've got the wiring schematic if you need it. no,no,no... you did it all wrong man!!! You need the extra 2 switches for the power sliding rear window and the other for the power sunroof...
  21. You don't need a boat to Catfishing... Just some stank bait or chickin livers, and a fold out chair.. Don't need no bait.... Just go noodling.... :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAgw6d3kLPI&feature=related LOL Yeah we call that grappling here.. That was a HUGE cat for such a small river.. Easier way would be just throw some T-N-T in and let it blow up... (no pun intended)
