  2. I bought 6 of these to mount on the outside of my truck (3 on each side).. Just havent yet....
  3. I know you can re-seat a bead pretty easy with a can of hairspray and a match.. Spray some hairspray (or other flammable liquid ) after you put the stem in and then throw a match on it,, It'll pop your bead right on. Kinda violent, but effective.
  4. :dunno:
  5. Thanks SW2. :D That's one of the reasons (the combined patch rollups) I like, also that it does not require a whole lot of disk space, far as I can see. :rotfl2: Don do you even know what that is???? hehe,,, cause I don't..
  6. Practice makes perfect. Every time you screw up, as long as you figure out why, you'll learn something, and get better! If you buy a spray gun, just make sure it's HVLP(high volume low pressure) They use less air, and lay out smoother coats. Everything else is junk and you won't be happy with it. I have to disagree on the HVLP.. They use a high flow of air at low pressures.. BUT... I do agree that their the best for auto finishes.. less over spray, less waste, blah, blah, blah,, but you better have a compressor that'll keep up.. And alot of those guns need bigger airlines..
  7. Bookmarked..
  8. Call these guys up.. http://carolinaclutch.com/
  9. 20 posts before being able to make a thread in the Classifieds would work to keep me quite
  10. I think your over worrying yourself.. Bleed the air from the system and check for any clutch fluid leaks.. I bet its one of the two. Worst case is the slave is bad or the mc is bad.. you will be able to tell when bleeding. Get you a long piece of clear tubing from Lowes make sure its the right size diameter, cause I'm thinking the clutch slave bleeder is real small. open the bleeder valve push one end of the tubing on the bleeder valve, then run the other end up into a cup. have someone pump the clutch and keep you eye on the fluid level in your mc. when you get clean fluid pumping place the end of tubing in the mc and pump a few more times. If you still getting air bubbles then you have a leak somewhere. If you pump and pump and no fluid comes up the tube then the MC is bad, if after all is good and you tighten the bleeder valve and still don't work your slave is bad.. If you bleed and your slave moves but you still don't have clutch then something mechanically wrong inside the bell housing..
  11. I'm sorry man, but you killed that engine by putting it in that dirty engine bay... :shake: WHY, WHY, WHY?????? :rotfl2: I like the gray truck, those 17's look pretty good blacked out.

  14. He only asked for a good internet source... I think its legit.. If you don't give him your info then whats the harm in asking for what parts he needs? I mean if anything if it does turn out to be scam then you can just block his emails on your webmaster account.
  15. Thats a cool place that you linked to..
  16.
  17. It is a day we pause to think about a chain formed link by link that binds us to the liberties that God desires for all. It is a day for looking back at how the mourners dreaded black maintains the colors that we love... the red, the white and blue. In cemeteries far and near small flags at grave sites make it clear that freedom's price was freely paid by those who spent their lives. And so on this Memorial Day we place a wreath and humbly pray that these who died courageously will not have died in vain.
  18. Business op knocking??? I have a buddy from Cameroon West Africa that just sent around 5 or 6 SUV's to Africa and he was asking where a good place to get some parts to throw in the Conex. He was telling me that they need parts really bad. You might be able to strike a deal?? Who knows? I can ask my boy and forward the email you received to get his feedback if you want.
  19. Find you some German import window switches.. I know some Mercedes-Benz have window switches that look really close to the MJ factory switches. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCEDES-BENZ-W124-POWER-WINDOW-SWITCH-300E-400E-E320_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem1c09c496b7QQitemZ120422962871QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-97-Mercedes-C220-POWER-window-SWITCH-REAR-c230-c280_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem2c4f3f38ebQQitemZ190308104427QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

  22. All o-rings that come in contact with fuel need to be Buna-N/Nitrile or fuel resistance. If not you might burn it down... When doing this I also recommend replacing the o-rings and quick clips on the fuel line and pressure regulator.. :smart: http://www.rigidsteel.com/y97pC3tIGk0.html
