Thanks Thomas.... but you wouldn't be stealing any cage ideas from me because I stole them from the Zone Offroad MJ.... anything I can do to help ..... just let me know.

My son and I put the SX’s back on so we could do some measuring… Then we did a little flexin’ to measure for bump and strap length…. Then into the front yard for some snow/poser pics…

Picked up a set of used 35’s to run on the hardtop….. I also spent yesterday dropping from 6.5 back to 4.5 inches of lift… took it for a drive and was able to hit and comfortable drive Interstate speed for the first time. Now I gotta bolt back up the SX’s and measure for bump stops and limiting straps.

I used an old army foot locker for my bed box and mounted my spare between it and my roll cage..... I cut slots inside the box to hold my spare axles and keep them dry and out of the weather.... if you get a chance chase my link and check it out.... keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing those ARB in some action shots....

Big change in appearance....... I love the factory graphics.....

I helped work on that truck.... I'm the one who talked him into doing those tail lights. I've only seen pics of them and always wanted a set, but I'd just knock them out on the trail so I talked him into doing a set so I'd get to see them in person. Pics don't do them justice..... you can do interior and front clip but it's still going to look dated in the rear until you get a set of these. I also like how he recessed the license plate in the rear bumper and added an LED light. Glad someone on the board bought this truck......

I love how those light bars look on our trucks..... but I'd just break them the first day in the woods.... very Nice MJ.... -
What is the point of a helmet if you don't strap it on and don't wear a seat belt? Willy None..... I hope that answered your question..... LOL Jerry

Really looking good.... I do like the light bar above the windshield ..... So have you already built your stroker? -
This weekend's ride has been cancelled.... I guess too many felt that zero degrees is just too cold to ride..... Heck I was standing outside last night in the -10 degrees windchill working on my heater..... my fan has always made a little noise but after verifying the fuse was good I opened the hood and banged on it with a hammer.... seemed to do the trick at least in the short term..... deinately gonna need to get a new fan motor.

Yea that's mine.... that's my first trip out before IVY opened we were doing a pre-opening ride......... you'll find alot of our wheeling on Lee's site.... I'm heading down to a snow ride this weekend so I should have some pics to post.....

Really nice.... love the white... very clean....

I'd like to someday go to an Antirock setup like that. Right now I have no swaybars whatsoever which can get dicey at highways speed...... also in extreme offcamber situations I feel very uncomfortable.... my MJ is kinda tall and very soft. Have you had it offroad since installing the Antirock? I've heard they limit flex.... I'd appreciate your opinions or anyone elses.

jbain replied to GHayduke's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Right on.... lookin' good.... a buddy of mine painted his new style GM Copper..... don't see MJ's in this color very often. -
Nice MJ..... Love the orange paint..... really liket that bumper.... who makes it?
-
Lookin' good Bob.... love the wheel and tires.... and expecially that rear bumper..... very nice.
-
Hell yea you should definitely come wheel with us..... just put that thing on a trailer and head down....... my guy's would love your Scrambler and from the look of your pic you would love the trails down here. We will also be in Harlan KY on April 10th thru the 12th if anyone is in the area and would like to come out and wheel with us. Found a couple more pics......

Don't forget to weld the tube to the center section..... 8.8's are known to spin the tube in extreme situtations..... lookin really good though.....
-
There is no way I'd be able to take that in the woods...... I've found my new Favorite MJ on the planet.......well done.....
-
Yea.... I was told when I bought my MJ that you can't run them at highway speed without swaybars....... was told that they are "Softer" than my old XJ and I'd have to buy links...... so I cut off the mounts, hung the front axle and drove it straight down the road........ then I decided to add Beadlocks to the mix...... lets just say you gotta stay focused when driving..... lol
-
Found this pic of our last trip to IVY.......The guy riding shotgun had never ridden with us before and was surprised to learn my plan was to drive down the waterfall vice going around it....... It was a fun day of wheeling.... LOL
-
Might have missed it earlier but are you going 3 link? I also notice a Jonny joint on your UCA above the diff....... I ran 3 link for about a year and it wasn't so bad.... when I built the new front axle I went back to 4 link and the only thing I really noticed was it had much better road manners at high speed..... didn't drift quite as much. Looks good though I really like the white.....

Most people just don't understand just how much work goes in to what you've done.... looks great.... your gonna love those gears.....
