    Later Guys...

It's true that he is the cause and everyone here knows that.....including him. We've had a few troll's on our site over the years we just ignore their posts and they will eventually move on to another forum to bother other people. Regardless of the reason.... you can't stop people from posting thier opinions or theories no matter how ob surd. You can however ignore them.... Here is the Wikipedia Definition for an Internet Troll..... a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2]extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]

    Later Guys...

If I learned one thing from 20 years of Naval Service it would be that even the "perception" of favoritism will inevitably ruin any organization..... or club.... or Forum. Too often in my time in the service I had sailors who thought their exceptional knowledge of their job allowed them to say and do whatever they wanted, while everyone else watched in amazement...... it seemed they felt they were so "Good at what they did" the "Navy" couldn't go on without them..... Most of these situations ended with the sailor heading back home on a bus with a bad haircut. I guess... this time, maybe I'm the one who leaves........
  3. At least the Wrangler's are helping each other........ it also appears the Rubicon was trying to avoid scratching the paint...... LOL.... all kidding aside I love the pics.... the wheeling on that side of the country looks awesome, the scenery is amazing.... very jealous....
  4. I wouldn't think bending would be an issue either...... and thanks for the info.....
  5. Hung a new set of Tail lights in my MJ so I was able to go out and haul some tables over the weekend in support of a Toys for Tots drive. MJ's are considerably more versatile in the fact that you can haul and wheel these machines.... unlike the XJ, CJ, TJ, YJ, ZJ, WJ, JK, LJ.....ect, ect, ect......
  6. I plan to drop my lift 2 inches this winter which will include having to install a better bump system..... How much uptravel did you end up with?
  7. Really nice job on the bed.... but I think my favorite part of this truck is that Passenger Side B-Pillar damage..... I'm sure that's a great story, I bet you really miss that truck.....
  8. I will someday have to trade my dented bed for a tube bed.....I've looked at alot of pics and I think It's hard to make one that looks good on an MJ...... but I like what you've done. I like that it has a "bedside".... I think that's important for our Trucks.... well done.
  9. Right On !!! Mine is still muddy from the weekend.... hasn't been above freezing...... LOL
  10. I could 87manche but I'd still need something to hang taillights in..... on a side note.... I had no idea those were so expensive. Thanks mnkyboy, that is exactly how I want mine to look.... appreciate the pics
  11. Ok thanks.....I'll try and find it.
  12. This is what I'm refereing to 401...... (I borrowed this from your build H3RESQ..... hope you don't mind) I need something to protect the side and so I can mount aftermarket taillights.... I'm not sure the the XJ and MJ are the same but that would make things easier.
  13. While wheeling over the weekend the inevitable happened, I broke a tail light and did some damage on the rear bedside behind the rear axle. I know a few of you here have either bought or built them (I can't seem to find anyone who sells them) I was hoping for a little information. First what thickness of steel did you use? I assume you bent the steel around something to get the "curve" needed. My plan is to just make a cardboard template.... lay that down on a piece of steel.... cut it out then "Mold" it to fit the rear of the MJ. After that cut out a hole for my rear tail light and hang it on the Truck. But like I said earlier it's the "Curve" that worries me.... thanks in advance.
  14. "Battle Scars" make good stories to tell the Mall Crawlers....... LOL...
  15. They are some really great trails..... whitemanche..... as for the helmets Ivy is part of the Hatfield and McCoy trail system and helmets are required inside the park. Your yearly pass must be displayed on the left side of the helmet.
  16. I've been wanting to get up to Rausch Creek...... really nice build....... big transformation....
  17. A few more pics.... This trail is named..... AXLE...... This was earlier in the day when I still had tail lights.....
  18. Thanks for the pics.... I really would like to go full width but depending on how it's done and the lift/stance really impacts how it looks..... well done.....
  19. Not sure if this will work but this is a Highlight video of our last ride.....
  20. A few pics from this weekend's Toys for Tot's ride........ Here's where the 2 groups split.... modified and Trail Rig.... Pit stop..... to replace a Toyota front Driveshaft U-Joint The next few are a trail named "Butchers Block"
  21. I know several people who use those Zach and they really like them alot...... I made it out of IVY Saturday evening but I was missing both rear taillights (both lights were already broken and had screws hold them together) and quite a bit of paint. We ran a couple of the hardest trails in the park and as bad as I hated to I had to "Clearance" a little sheet metal in a couple tight places. Works got me busy this morning but I'll try and post up a couple pics this afternoon.
  22. First off......WOW..... I can't even imagine how much work went into the making of that monster. A couple questions.... are you running full width axles or have they been cut? any chance you could post a pic straight on so I can get an idea of how those axle sit under an MJ with Hummer wheels.....
  23. Had the day off yesterday so i spent it doing some last minute fixes before this Saturdays IVY ride. The forecast is Rain, Rain, Rain so it's gonna be sloppy...... I mounted my Cooler/Center Console so now I can keep my drinks and lunch cold and have a place to rest my arm. My rear diff cover had been leaking where I pulled it away from the axle on a previous ride so I pulled that off, massaged it with a hammer and reinstalled. I also took it to my exhaust guy and had a new "Street" muffler installed.... my old Cherry Bomb was giving me a headache. On the last ride I had a ground terminal problem so I also installed a very heavy brass set. I'll post lots of pics monday morning.......
  24. Glad Bucky is back home...... I know sometimes It's nice to look out the window and see it sitting there..... ready for the next adventure.....
  25. Is it a HP Dana 44? Be careful with Low Pinion axles if you plan on running much lift..... the double cardian helps but our driveshafts are short campared to the Wrangler guys. If your going to cut it down and you plan on rotating the C's then that would help but if your staying full width be aware of your pinion angle / lift height.
