  1. well i think(sometimes) that to adjust it all you do is loosen it and rotate it while its running. when it runs bad turn it the other way and find the point in which it runs best. could be wrong but worth a shot

  3. or spin the tires until the driveshaft does a 360 turn. if it spins about 3 timres you have 3.07's if it spins 3 and a half times you have 3.56 if it spins about 4 times you have 4.10's

  5. well i thought the same. i drove an 00 cat 300 solid rear and it had single coil so the same travel (scaled) as leafs and they stunk on the mud. i ran great tires. upgraded to an 05 400 with ifs & irs and witht he same 25's i gat 3-5" more travel and could go through mud so mush easier. i could stop and go slow and didnt have to worry about it cause the wheel would travel. and when you go through mud you go slow... unless you have no fenders and like shooting mud. so in my opinion. leafs stink....

  8. if you don't feel like waisting money you can always do it the poor mans way... get 3 feet of flexible plastic tubing and buy your K&N filter and clamp it on!
  9. i correct myself a d44 has a 8 1/2 inch ring gear
  10. d44 has a 8.75 ish inch gear where as the 8.8 is 8.8. in theory the 8.8 is stronger, unless you plan on running like 39's id go with 87manche and get an 8.8 out of a exploder.

  13. well there isnt really too much i would just get done what you can and ask someone when you have a problem or lay out your plans and we can tell you what your doing wrong/right. also you need to had the vavle seats? machined and install new ones.
  14. dude your mental. leafs stink! if you want a stiff ride put in f-150 springs and get some hard hard shocks. and travel in mud is very important as the mud is never the same density so you want travel to keep traction.

  17. no the perches are spaced differently. plus if they were you would get 4.5-5.5 inches of rear lift. you could cut off the XJ perches and weld on new ones though :smart:
  18. sounds like a bad cable. id say spend the $15 or whatever and replace it, atleast you know it won't brake next time you slam it hard.
  19. yeah id get gasket material and some shellac compound and trace then cut your own gasket. you can use it on anything and its just as good. plus its one more reason to be in the garage.
  20. well lift blocks won't work unless you do a SOA so it would probabally be cheaper to buy stuff indivudally or just buy one for an MJ

  23. cherokees DO come with tags on them as ive taken them off bofore and if you don't wanna pull of the diff cover count the times the tire spins in one spin of the driveshaft
  24. we've had brooks bed liners and they are incredible about 450 and you couldn't even put a nail through it if you wanted to.
