  2. how does my whole truck brake if the c-clip brakes? what exactly is the c-clip and can i swap one off my truck (assuming its a non- c-clip)
  3. ram's pretty sure thats whats on my truck on wed ill measure its width for you
  4. also check your alternator and battery... don't think you can run with a junk alternator
  5. correct me if I'm wrong but i think the engine bay is under the hood..
  6. ooh just remember happened to my friends XJ 2 or 3 weeks ago. check your fuses under the hood. he blew a 30 and we took it out of the A/C i think and it works now
  7. yeah take a plug out and have it connected to the wire and have someone start it (make sure the plug is toughing metal) and then if it sparks its not your dist. if it stops right away then its your dist. either way i would either rebuild the dist or go to a junkyard or find a spare and try that. maybe try to time it(not sure if you can or not)
  8. i would suggest taking of one of your plugs and see if it tries to fire once its in transition and if it does then your CPS is off. you could also try another distributor from a junkyard and see if that does the trick. also did you check to see if your fuel pump is running??
  9. what do new perches & u-bolts cost?
  10. hahah i like NH id have to say its the best ive been too
  11. XJ SOA he took if off of his cause he wanted different gears and he found one with a locker. so ill put my gears in and throw it under ohh and its a c-clip
  12. Yeah well the xj axle is $10 and has perches set up for SOA and 4'' is good enough for now until i get money for a SYE, CV and bigger tires. if any of you guys have front end lift parts (4-5") and are interested in selling them i might eb a buyer for em
  13. well there is an easy fix to the emissions problem... move to New Hampshire where there is no emissions testing!
  14. well about 15 mins ago my frind said hell give me an axlehousing off of an XJ and i put my 4.10s in it for $10 and then his xj shackles and discos for $25 and then ill do cougar coils up front with all the goodies. so i have the option of going higher but i think ill be set with 4" and empty wells with tj flares, should gimme enough room for 35's or 34 can't decide. but thats all for this truck for a few years its a dd and I'm 16 w/out a job unless i can do my homework so i do need to keep gas in mind. yeah thanks for the help and all if you think theres gonna be a problem let me know
  15. shifted to the side like to far forewards or to far back or offset to the left or right?
  16. well back to the bumper thing the late 80's and early 90's dodge ram bumpers fit (not to ruin your giys conversation or anything) lol
  17. what type of problems can i expect if i just do coils in front?
  18. alright you got me thinking...(don't happen very often) if i lift 3'' do i need to change my tracbar and lower control arms? one of my friends was telling me that but he dosent like peicing stuff together and only likes kits from expensive brands. thanks
  19. wow i though i was smart until i read that. i don't know much about castor can you explain please? I'm not to smart with axles i know they rotate amd make tires move but i don't know what to upgrade. thanks
  20. so I'm thinking about upgrading axles strong enough for some hardcore burnouts with 35's and obviously the d35 won't last to long. i was thinking d44 or ford 9.0 in rear but not sure what to use up front. you guys got any suggestions? thanks
  21. possible to clear 33's with tj flares?
  22. alright so i think I'm gonna do an SOA eventually and i don't want to do AAL cause they are lame id rather shackles. what would you guys reccomend: 3 inch, SOA or tj flares(how big of tire can i run with TJ flaers with no lift and how wide of flares)? thanks
  23. sounds like some good hard work
