What a #@%! show! I would have lost it. Sorry to hear that. I will keep an eye out for those so maybe someone else won't have to go through the same thing.

Lol yes they can get into a lot of trouble if they don’t have exercise and a job to do.

I think the cost of shipping it would be costly, but I’m just thinking out loud -
Congratulations

I enjoyed reading all 4 pages. So much information in your build that I need to figure out a way to save it. So, I can find it easily. Looked just like mine but minus the newer grill! -

I am thinking it was in good shape but I wasn’t paying to much attention to that. The Jeep was in pretty good shape though. you can kinda see a part of the bed in this picture took some pictures of the bumper if anyone is looking. it had nice tires and rims in bed and really nice rims on it -> -
This actually makes me feel better about it. You’re right about having it perfect and the worrying that goes with it
-
I definitely think so

Got an 1988 MJ in at the local pull your part. Tailgate and taillights we gone already . It had the black interior and factory center console but the arm rest was missing and the black insert was broken in half which is sad because it had the brake lever delete insert. I managed to get just that piece out. The B pillar lights were in awesome condition so of course I snagged those for my truck. -> It still has the A and B pillar plastic in it and it’s in black. The rear bumper is in great shape. The lower portion of the center console in black is in it too

There is an 1988 Comanche here in the Pull Your Part in largo Florida. It has the black A and B pillars still in it. It looks factory. The center console is in there but no armrest. The black plastic insert is trash so I just pulled the brake shifter block out. The tailgate and taillights are gone but the bumper is still on and In very good condition. Just letting you all know

Got in my Amazon winch cradle. No instructions on how it went together but a little trial and error I figured it out. Seems pretty stout ->

I have a problem with keeping it spotless inside. I have calmed down a little bit since seeing it. I’m just hopeful that the interior will clean up fine. Have the truck lined up to be towed next week to the mechanic to get it mechanically sound. It has to be painted. No way around it. The rust is only going to get worse and the HOA will not be happy with an abandoned looking truck.

Took the hour and a half drive up to the property to get the Comanche ready to get back home. I couldn’t get it to run but it could be the fuel pump as I couldn’t get any fuel out of the valve on the fuel rail. That was just what type of problem I expected though but I wasn’t expecting how bad of shape it’s in. Devastated is the only word that I can come up with. Mold all inside and out. Rust on body and bumpers. I feel like it’s not worth it as there is so much to do on it. I just thought I would go up, drive it home, and eventually have it painted. The paint is beyond bad. Just need to get my head around what I am going to do before I say screw it -> At this point I want to abandon it right now
