  4. Pick up my new gears and lockers from Gear Works in Clearwater. I was able to get the new Eaton Elocker for the front and rear D44 axles, and the 4:55 gears for both. The new Rubi 44 front axle should be in in a few weeks, but the alloy shafts are on back order. This will be the only jeep I have ever owned that was properly geared and locked. I want to thank BwatsonCJ and the rest at Gear Works for the fantastic deal I got on these  :
  5. I had the same problem, this is what I found out in my case. The body shop guy was trying to figure out where the leak in the rear was coming from. I have my headliner out and he noticed a bit of light coming through. The leak is in the pinch seam on the roof. It is where the top and side meet to form the rain gutter. It appears that the two were never properly welded together. This made it seem like the rear window was leaking. HTH Rich
  6. So, you're braggng because your wife can teach you how to use a computer? : :rotf:
  7. You have them in the wrong order; Web Wheeling, Porn, then Gambling. :D I had to look up Musashi the other day. biwatsoncj, you would really like that one
  8. I own that comanche! I hope to recreate that same picture with my MJ here soon. Enjoy the Varmit, COMJNUT. - Rich
  9. That which does not kill us makes us stronger = aphorism. I learned a new word today.
  10. I see you made it over from FJOA  When did you get a Comanche? Welcome, Rich
  11. Yep, there is. I believe that the dealership sells them;Black left - 55015915, Black right - 55015914. I have never actually checked to see if these were correct, because I found them at the Pick-n-pull for three dollars.-Rich
  12. CoNewB, Welcome  I am over in the Tampa area, so we need to get a southern pow-wow going with rdp001 and Cabz. I would try LKQ for a replacement bed. They have pick-n-pulls all over the state. The LKQ in Clearwater has 2 MJ's in the yard now, and a third getting ready to be brought out. Here is a another thread on the topic; http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1988 -Rich
  13. Any pictures would be appreciated - Rich
  14. But it did work, what year MJ do you have?
  15. Thanks everyone. I do have the bellhousing, but I want to switch over to the external. Have the shifter also, but no vent - that is ok ;) . I will try to use my old cross member. I am getting a new 23 spline shaft from NOVAK. Anyone have the part number on the AX15 trans mount?-Rich
  16. I have never seen that, I love that clown. He did get his nose pulled off by the balck girl, was that the arse kick?
  17. :D -< YAAH-Hoooo
  18. I have a few questions about the AX15. I know a few of you on this board have done the swap, so I am seeking your wisdom before I get started. I just picked up a 1990 AX15 from a 4X4 Cherokee. I have read that the older AX15's don't have a vent - mine does not. How important is this, and where is it located on the transmission? I would also like to know if the transfercase linkage from an 4wd AX5 would work? I know that they are similar in design. I will need the input shaft for my 231, the linkage for the transfercase. Will I need to get the AX15 crossmember? Or will my factory BA10 work? Anything else that I am forgetting? So, my questions are; 1) Do I need the crossmember from an AX15? 2) What linkage do I need to make the conversion work? 3) Where is the vent tube located on the AX15, and how impotant is it? Thanks, Rich
  19. Anyone try, or have an opinion on the X-factor steering set-up at http://www.rockkrawler.com ?
  20. Could you tell me where you were able to find new locks? I need to replace mine. Thanks, Rich
  21. Very interesting.....thanks for that little tidbit of info  Jeff That is a nice tip! Looks like Friday I will have an A15 with bellhousing. This one came out of an XJ, so it should be a perfect fit. I have been waiting a while for a XJ/MJ specific AX15
  22. Thanks for the input. I will check Novak out.
  23. I would like to know how to properly identify an AX15 when it is not attached to the engine, or in the vehicle. I know how to tell the difference between a BA10 and the AX15, I want to make sure it is not an AX5 for the 4 banger. Thanks, Rich
