  2. I hate to say this but I do not drive it....oops did I just type that? ! I have it parked at my folks house until the Ford Explorer, explodes. In the mean time, I am gathering everything up so she will be ready when I need her. I have2 other CJs that I am working on right now. So I have way to many projects. The tranny is working good, but I only drove it for 80 miles.-Rich
  3. Thanks for the offer :) I have the BA10 in it now. I am looking to upgrade before it blows.
  4. Thanks for the info. I think the 94 AX15 is sold so it is back to the scrap yards-Rich
  5. It is in Clearwater/St Pete. I never bothered to ask how much because I "Knew" you were looking for a LWB roll bar. It was pretty nice. If you decide to go for it, I will help you pull it and load it on your truck :) Call LKQ at 727-572-1976 -Rich
  6. What is the difference, if any, in an AX15 out of a 94 wrangler and the MJ/XJ versions? A guy is selling one and I need to know what problems I may run into with this swap. Thanks, Rich
  7. Cabz, I hate to say it but the roll bar is on a short box-Rich
  8. GIRsMJ86, I got the cargo light. The switch was cool looking but completely trashed. Here are some pics
  9. Get a hold of CWLONGSHOT on this forum. He just added new spring packs to his MJ. If you plan on replacing your springs, he would be a great source of first hand knowledge-Rich Ps; welcome to the group
  10. Mmmmmm......I have a extra fuel injected TPI 350 v8 and my choice of a rebuilt 700r4 or T19 w/dana 300. I don't know  I think I am going to just stroke the I6. If anyone wants to do this conversion or trade any of the above for an AX15, Let me know. Its all for sale  -Rich
  11. I will get the cargo light next time I am there. I will try for the light switch but I can't promise anything- the dash may be gone? Don't worry Cabz, I will let you know-Rich
  12. I think it was in good shape. I did not get it because I do not need another hole in my roof :) They can't be asking more than 10 for it. I can get it to you for cost plus shipping if interested.
  13. That is a much better word for it. I think it is an option. My 89 does not have one.
  14. There are two Comanche's sitting in the pre-salvage lot in Clearwater/St Pete. One has a roll bar in it but I can't say if it is a LB or short from the way it is parked - big place. It may take a few weeks for it to make it into the gen pop but I will post a picture of it when it does. I am still looking Cabz . There is a bed light on the MJ that is already out for salvage-fyi. Rich
  15. Have you seen this? It is an 86 so it should be a LB Comanche. 1986 Jeep : COMANCHE Item number: 4617320062

    The Wife

The kid and the dogs like it, so I can keep it. My wife just tolerates the jeeps and tries to appear interested. So I guess I got it good
  17. Now thats comedy
  18. I find myself doing the same thing. I will be like "Hey Sparky (sparky is my 3rd person name), you better watch that or your gonna bust your knuckle with that wrench" or something that involves injuring myself. And you know what, I am always right.
  19. Sweet :D I still have an eye out for ya at my local Pick-n-Pull for the rollbar.
  20. 8) 8) 8) 8) Now I wish I didn't get rid of the other wrecked MJ...keep us posted of new pics!

Anyhoo, here are some links; http://www.dirtdevils.org/briantechtippage4.htm http://www.olypen.com/craigh/rad.htm http://jeephorizons.com/tech/xj_cooling.html
  22. "Shipping costs: US $125.00 -- Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service " Still a good deal if they work. I paid $189 a piece for similar seats for the cj. I had to return them  because they were too tall....could not get under the steering wheel-Rich
  23. What a waste, enjoy-R http://4xforum.co.za/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.pl?board=TechQuestions;action=display;num=1126725233
