  1. Congrats and welcome. Any chance that that is an Olympic edition?
  2. Un-freakin-believable! I would only suggest you you replace the wine with Goldslauger! It taste best when chilled in Norway. Awesome, just awesome :!:
  3. This could be the best MJ picture of ALL Time; Love this one; (looking for this topper-LB topper wanted)
  4. Thanks everyone :D I am going to get the TNT UBE with the 3/4" lift so I will be sure to get 6" with the SOA-Rich
  5. Raising the bar again! I hope you never have to use it :) Was it expensive? Looks good-Rich
  6. Could you tell me how (tall) high the RE weld-on spring perch is off the axle. That would help me decide on whether to add the 3/4'' UBE or not. Thanks, Rich
  7. Here should be a picture of my rear leaf springs. 8) Now the axle is around 2.75" + the spring perch .75 + half of the spring pack 1" (2'' overall) = 4.5" lift if do the SOA? Does this sound about right? I can't figure out how you would be able to get more than 4.5" out of a standard SOA  Is there lift in the stock leaf springs? Can somebody enlighten me - Rich
  8. I was thinking 5-6''. I think my question should be - when I do the SOA, what is the rock bottom hight in the rear needed to clear the 33s [4.5?]. I can match the front to the rear. I just don't want to come up short. Thanks-Rich
  9. So I will go with the SOA and extra leaf if needed for wrap. Should I try and get a little lift [3/4 or so] out of the u-bolt eliminator kit or will the SOA be more than enough?-Rich
  10. I am planning on lifting my 89 4x4 long bed Comanche [metric ton w/44] and going to 33'' tires. How many have done the rear SOA and have had problems with spring wrap. What can be done for it if needed? Should I just go with custom spring lift like the JP Comanche?-Rich
  11. Thanks Manche. Pingpong; I value your imput. After I made my front bumper for my Scrambler, I have not been motivated to make my own junk. I am getting to the piont where I have more money than time. That aint saying much
  12. Thanks 87manche for getting me to this link. I don't have the time or desire to make these UBE. I figure the DPG bump stops are 80 bucks. The MORE anti wrap perches are 50 bucks. That is 130 right there. Toss in the shock perches and eliminate the ubolts and my time = Priceless. Here is my question for Scorpion; I am doing a spring over on my 89LWB 4x4. I want to run 33'' tires. I have the D44 rear axle w/metric ton package & stock springs. Which UBE should I go with? No lift or other lifted? Any one have an idea of where I need to be to clear 33s? I have to say the customer service at TnT is fantastic. Bob at TnT always had time for my dumb @$$ qustions and concerns. That was one of my "must have" when picking a lift company. My personal experience with RE has made me value the importance of customer service.-Rich
  13. I need some advise. I am going to do the SOA in the rear and came across this; http://www.tntcustoms.com/webV3/ubolteliminators.asp . What do you all think about going with this set up?-Rich
  14. Wow! How did I miss this post  Better late then never. Looks real good-Rich
  15. I think you should follow mj_lover's advice; Take a break from it. Cooter is on to something, just use it and up grade as time/money allow. No need to have it all perfect and the dream set-up to use it. Part of the fun is building it up. You won't lose the love for the MJ while wheelin' it. As for the locker and gears -install them, use them- when your ready to upgrade, the axle will be that much more appealing for re-sell. That way the loss your going to take will be justified. I got an Idea...build some model trains to clear your head. It aint much, but I hope it helped a bit-Rich
  16. Went out to the folks property, where the Comanche is parked, this weekend. The carpet is still wet so I decided to pull out the rest of the carpet. The good news is the rust is bad, but not as bad as I thought. The floor board piece I cut out of the donor Comanche will cover all the damage. I duct taped around the window to slow the leak. I used WD40 to soaked down the area where the bolts hold the bench seat down. I was horrified to find that the bolts were missing/loose and none of the nuts were on it. I had been driving with just the carpet/seat belts holding the seat in. The dealer never put the hardware back in after he saw the rusted floor board. Frikin used car dealer. I found a billion carpenter ants nesting in the carpet pocket lint too. Only got bit once lol
  17. Welcome to the site! Yeah, I am going with the TnT kit. If you get the November edition of JP magazine, they put the same kit on a project Comanche!-Rich
  18. Future plans-> RE 5.5" lift and 33'' tires. Maybe even a new turn light -Rich Updated picture 1/30/09
  19. I must have lost my invite. How long has this forum been up? It looks good! Did my avatar show up? Better late then never, eh-Rich
