  1. In PA the law states that any PA citizen, regardless of who actually hit the deer, may claim a road killed deer. They are just required to apply for a free license from the game commission within twenty four hours. I hit a Cadillac with the front right corner of my first XJ. The newer Cadillac won. I spent a few hours in a parking garage disassembling the right fender so I could drive home.
  2. It says the sign and supporting structure. Does that mean they can leave the concrete block and car? Honestly, I think that would be a cool spot to pull over, rest, take a few pictures, and then head off again.
  3. Even more interesting is if it was wired into a security system. Front door opened? Driver door opens on the screen!
  4. The lower control arms will be the exactly same height off the ground as they were before minus any difference in tire height.
  5. CC has the setting enabled called "Prevent shouting in topic titles". Unfortunately that functionality is not amazing so it tends to clobber acronyms. File attachment is set per forum, but the limit is tiny due to the small of hosting space available.
  6. It usually means the teeth are stripped on the mechanism. Get under there with a flash light to look at it.
  7. Thanks, but I am certainly not done yet! I have door removal down to twenty minutes a door.
  8. My Comanche shirts are green. My bedroom walls are painted a dark hunter green... I... I don't know what this means! It actually has a near satin finish to it. Care basically consists of washing with microfiber cotton towels wrapped over sponges making sure to rinse more often. Removing bugs requires patience by spraying with a tar removal spray, letting it sit, and then gently wiping it away. Das Mule used the same paint on his van.
  9. Painting and bed lining with olive drab green for the paint.
  10. There is no filler applied yet and I definitely will not be using Bondo. Rage Xtreme in generally does not require a glazing putty since if it is applied correctly it should not get pin holes.
  11. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STARTING!
  12. How Not to Ship Hazardous Materials - Even the tiny bottle has damage.
  13. It tries to shrink it, but gives up if the image is significantly bigger than the restrictions.
  14. A quick note on that hose, maybe try to find a name brand or do the bracket relocation. The one I received was about one inch shorter than advertised which has made for a slightly taunt line at full flex.
  15. I did not and mine is not affected by the issue. This reminded me to make a note to fix the power steering line rubbing a hole through the lower radiator hose on the MJ.
  16. It almost looks like a twin of RockMJ's MJ! How hard was it to import the MJ to Nederland?
  17. If I could pick up a high pinion D30 already regeared with an aftermarket cover that had mileage on it I would pay around $400. For the D44, $600.
  18. Torque (Requires Bluetooth OBDII adapter) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque&hl=en OBDLink MX Bluetooth adapter - $150, but it works with OBDLink's software, Torque, DashCommand, and others. Basically one of the most open adapters out there. http://www.scantool.net/obdlink-mx.html ELM327 based OBDII bluetooth adapters can be bought from eBay for $10, but there are many people making and selling them. It may come out to be good or crap. All these have over a super basic held hand scanner is expandability and what the software you use with them shows. It also depends some on the vehicle. The OBDII on my 1997 is slow and basically only shows gauge/sensor information. The newer PCM on my 2004 is quite fast over OBDII and can output more data at a time for accurate logging.
  19. That is plan and I have not yet! I am also building a lid for it as part of the protective cover. I plan to finish that up after painting since I will have to take the bed off again.
  20. Longest Jeep name: 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Sahara Edition
  21. The MJ fuel system is a constant circulating system with the pressure regulator at the rail. The fuel rail for the 1997+ is returnless with the regulator built into the pump. The MJ fuel pump would simply continue to pressurize the system until it blows a hose off.
  22. 1.) 1999 engine harness is 1999 only. A 2000 to 2001 engine harness will work with a 1999 interior harness, but you will need a 2000+ PCM to control the coil pack rail since 1999 is still a distributor ignition. 1999+ wiring harnesses are all fairly standardized for optional features, but specific about certain ones such as Federal/California emissions. 2.) Yes, just use a manual transmission PCM. Of course there will be some unused connectors. I believe you may have to do a couple items such as wiring in the neutral safety switch. 3.) If you mean a stock MJ fuel pump, absolutely not. It does not put out the required 49 PSI for the 1997+ fuel system.
  23. Hot Rod Flatz's olive drab green looks to be fairly close to period correct. Thanks everyone, still so much work to do! Tis final on the color! I just ordered filler, olive drab green, and primer.
