watchamakalit Posted August 3 Author Share Posted August 3 Not much new to report on the MJ lately. Unfortunately I lost my 3rd gear synchros in the ax15. Upon removal of the trans I discovered a cracked bellhousing. I found a used bell housing on eBay for way too much money. Lol I have a new clutch kit and flywheel on the way. Still saving funds and trying to decide on a new or rebuilt trans. Today I have decided to remove the handful of small things I want off of my parts truck and prepare it for departure from my possession. Then the rest of the day will be spent cleaning and preparing my truck for the arrival of new parts and it's glorious return to the road. She looks so sad and dusty. watchamakalit Posted August 4 Author Share Posted August 4 Well a small amount of progress was made yesterday. Broke my only t27 bit so parts truck progress is on hold until new tools arrive. Old clutch is out. Still have some cleaning to do then time for a new luk flywheel and clutch kit. Should have those in today. Getting close to making a decision on new or rebuilt trans.....
