Rare Jeep Spottings that are not Comanches

I did look for a thread on this already to add to, but didn't really see one that was for non-comanche but still Jeep, so I guess I'll start it.  This sure looks like a Jeep of some kind but I don't know what it is or from when it is.  I see it around town from time to time so it seems like a good rare jeep thread starter...

These are the only other Jeeps I have seen and I’ve seen the blue honcho twice, white one once and the SJ waggy twice. They’re trying to sell it.

Also I’m throwing in some AMCs that you don’t see often. There’s 3 AMXs that are always there which is fricken awesome but when’s the last time you saw an ambassador:

Or a matador

And my friends chopped gremlin

Seen this J-truck in the wild

And saw a pacer in a yard

Thats all I’ve seen minus MJs.

That has the hurricane six cylinder in it!  If I bought a classic Jeep of that vintage I have always had interest in that engine as it's the first American overhead cam 6 cylinder.

Truck looks salvageable too.

It looks a little like an I6 from that camera angle, but it’s an AMC V8.

Hard to tell what the underside looks like with the snow. Floors were not good though. Poor patch job. And sadly around me salvage yards around me don't let you buy complete. That and once its in the yard, if it had a title its voided

dauntless v6 that was locked up. Factory soft top, still had the amc logo sticker on one of the braces. Body was very straight but very rotted.

And I found a jem in the back under a tire. Tempted to go back for the tailgate.20260307_132027.jpg.b4d539cbeb459c3d6ce13addea804e7f.jpg
