Sorry these aren't great pictures, I was really only interested in the alternator mount. I do have a RHD alternator mount, if you need more pictures of that. EDIT: Deleted pictures
Aussiemj Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 Sorry for confusion I have a rhd xj here in oz. But I am trying to put my comanche lhd back together but have lost the photos for reference.
fiatslug87 Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Do you need something specifically that is not shown in the second post’s link?

Aussiemj Posted December 10, 2024 Author Posted December 10, 2024 Thanks pizzaman09 any photos showing what and where is fitted inside guards and any wiring loom connection and the vacuum storage tank not sure where that goes thanks a lot
pizzaman09 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 The vacuum storage tank is usually on the front bumper, left side if you are standing in front looking at the front of the truck. I totally forgot to do this today, tomorrow after work I'll take the photos.
pizzaman09 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Hopefully these help. The two modifications you will note are the addition of factory cruise control and the plug for a Renix engine monitor on the large diagnostics port. Overview: Intake side Battery side Electronics cover panel removed: AC line lifted to see vacuum hose routing to accumulator ball in front bumper Relay area: Relay area: Lots of common lugs come here, I forget what the block they are on is for. Back side of said block: Connectors near battery: Connectors near battery view 2: View looking under coolant bottle: View showing cruise control actuator and the 4x4 vacuum lines: General view of ignition coil: Distributor:
Aussiemj Posted December 11, 2024 Author Posted December 11, 2024 Thank you very helpful and also confusing. I have a different coolant recovery bottle. But I cannot find a bracket for it in my parts

boxyjeep Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Bracket for HO bottle in Renix engine bay available here: https://boxyjeep.com/
Aussiemj Posted December 11, 2024 Author Posted December 11, 2024 thanks looking at the photos i think i am also missing a lot of steel pipes in the coolant system

That steel pipe connects to the bottom of the expansion tank, heater core and the rubber hose that runs up the left side of the upper radiator hose. The cooling system you have should be more similar to an HO Comanche or XJ than a Renix one. I don't think this steel pipe would be applicable in the HO setup.
