Paint tips.

I’d start with odorless mineral spirits and see how that spray-over reacts. Mineral spirits are not as fast working or severely cutting like acetone. More time to work without getting into what’s below.

Yeah it's definitely roughed up underneath hate people that think that green looks good.

Depending on how much they roughed the surface up, I wonder if you’d be better off DAing the whole thing down with 180 followed by 320, then priming and painting it. I’m not talking about making it too nice, but rather making it all one color. That truck looks straight enough and solid enough that it deserves paint.
