WahooSteeler Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 $2.25 today. they're still playing there 1-2 cents per day crap here. well, let's see how long it hangs around $2. OPEC is saying they're getting ready to cut back production and all up the line profits are down dramatically so while it is good for the end user, the public, in light of all the rest of the economic turmoil and cost of living increases, it will likely go back up at least a little before too long IMO. if it could level off at $2 +/- 10-20 cents, i think that would be acceptable. another real positive on the current price drops though, one place here has diesel under $3.
pingpong Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Gas around my place is a solid 2.15 everywhere  but the places that were .10-.15 cents higher are there too. To me this means that the lower stations are holding out on the last cuts  All the same it means more gas for wheeling
WahooSteeler Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 yesterday it dropped 9 cents from the night before, down to 2.19
Pete M Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I just talked with my parents on the phone and they recently saw 1.99 at a station in Tennesee (they are on their way down to Georgia coming from Detroit).
WyoCherokee Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 its 2.45 in laramie, 2.20 in cheyenne and i heard its about 1.75 in wheatland
ejndssn Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 we broke the 2.00 barrier  any bets on how low it will go
Wanker Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 It is still $2.45 around Birmingham. I'm ready for gas to be below $2.00 again, it's been too long.
mvusse Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 $2.13 here. Below $2 20 minutes north, though.
Car RamRod Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 still in the 2.70's here, diesel's just coming under 4.

mvusse Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 We seem to be stuck at $1.99. But I don't mind that, as long as it doesn't go UP.
