:hijack: Could one use an entire wiring harness and ECU from an XJ instead of splicing into the MJ harness, or would this cause adverse effects? :hijack:

We spoke briefly this afternoon about the truck and he did mention spending $1400 on rebuilding the transmission. I'm not sure what I will do. I might hold out and try to find an AX-15 to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the fast response. I'll be sure to ask to see the receipts for the rebuild. I've been looking for a 4WD AX-15, but they're pretty hard to find around here.

Are these transmissions really that bad? I found a Comanche that a guy is selling for parts. The transmission was rebuilt six months ago. I was going to buy it for the transmission to convert my 2WD to 4WD, but I have the AX-15. Will the Peugot be a pretty straight forward swap? Should I swap the Peugot in or just leave it 2WD?

Isn't tampering with mail a felony? I hope the butthole gets caught.

It shouldn't void the drivetrain warranty, but it might void the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty (or whatever that might have been). When I was interested in buying one I asked if a lift and 32's would void the warranty, and the above is what he told me. Hope this helps.

I'm swapping out my 5 spd 2WD tranny for an AW4 and 231 next weekend. Some guys have told me to swap out the wiring harness and possibly the computers too. My question is/are there wires on the AW4? If there are, what are they for? Thanks in advance.

Put the 93 XJ dash and clock into the Manche. It's nice to know what time it is now, but I couldn't get the engine temp or oil gauge to work though. Any ideas?

You were close, and yes I believe the Gators covered the point spread. I still believe FL will show how fraudulent the Big 12 is. FL has a good strong defense, and OK has not faced a good defense all year. I would be surprised if TT blows Ole Miss out. I expect that to be another SEC win. We'll see come January 8th. :thumbsup:
