  3. filling the wheel hole with bolders (it works lol ) can you say high cetered LMAO
  4. Hey my name is Jay from Oshawa, Ontario I am currently in the process of doing my 4x4 swap in to my second Comanche its an 89 eliminator 4L auto (will be auto with the swap LOL) BORDENCOMANCHE owns my first one. LOL "good on ya bro" just tore the old tranny out . now stripping the Donor cherokee
  5. darn right , i was told its the Comanche or me.... i asked if she was taking the dogs or leaving them for me.... shes still here      to the Comanche !!
  6. Well said bro, Well said. you know i will show you the ropes when it is finally up and running , mine will be on the road DEC 1st (hopefully) LOL if yours ain't we can head out in mine , not like Lori likes coming out anyways LOL
  7. eleswhere???? thats a big place bro ....
  8. hey ry any other day you would have just asked your best friend but i guess you lost my number or something since i never hear from you anymore , i got all your answers comcidering i just did the same swap as you but hey i'm sure you will figure out all your answers. :grrrr: have a great day Cprl.
  9. well luckily the dash that's going in my MJ is from the truck donating its V.I.N so i won't have to remove the V.I.N plate . :)
  10. just a thought but don't you think the Ministry of Transportation would know more that the Police, i understand your concern and appreciate it but trust me when i say this , i would not do anything illegal and if i did i wouldn't announce it over the internet. LOL  The parts truck is a 93 Cherokee so they are taking that V.I.N from the Cherokee and transfer it to a Comanche V.I.N/Ownership, they take the old Cherokee ownership and they destroy it . I was given specific instructions from the MTO on how to go about this legally and this is the only way to do it , i need a picture of the donor vehicles and receipt of purchase for the donor vehicles, that gives me right to transfer the V.I.N and ownership to another vehicle. Confusing i know but it works.
  11. i hear yah with the "becarefull talking about it" but i have disused this with my local MTO and what i am doing is by there direction and perfectly legal . as long as i have build pictures and proof of purchase for the parts vehicles and VIN plate and ownership , it will cost me $20 to have everything transferred to the new vehicle
  12. yeah already tried that rout , MTO suggested that .too bad of shape and rad support is gone do they not check that stuff on the certification ???? the rivets i mean
  13. just started a build on a 91 comanche that came in to a local wrecker here with nothing,no VIN or ownership, nothing but a shell and rear end . i have a dash and interior for it but its from a cherokee, there is a dealership here that will install the new VIN plate (56$ PER VIN plate RIVET,unreal) and certify the registration or whatever it is they do.
  14. pull the axle on one side with the front of the truck on stands , put shifter lever in 2wd , go to other wheels and turn in both directions a few times . this has worked for me on several occasions. not sure how or why , it just works ......
  15. i had to replace all my seat studs on my 88 Comanche and i just grinded them down drilled them out , and went to the hardware store and got some grade 8 bolts slightly larger in diameter with washers to fit , used nylon lock nuts and bolted them in (washers on both sides . stronger then stock i guarantee it !!!!!
