I've searched through this forum and haven't seen any recent threads on this. I'm looking to get rock sliders that also function possibly as a step in and out of the vehicle. With the lift I have it's just enough to be a pain in the @$$ for me and/or the wife or passenger to get in the car.

I saw dirtbound has the deluxe sliders that look great. They mount in three places and have a step. I've gotten both my front and rear bumper from them and they make great stuff... but also it takes about three months to get anything from them it seems.

Price plus shipping to me is $453 before tax

Then there are these JCR ones that mount in two places on the frame but also have a tie-in to the rocker it looks like. They also have a bar that serves as a step. Have not ordered anything from them but i bet it would take less than three months to deliver.

Price after free shipping - $449

Is there any other site you are aware of that makes short bed comanche sliders? I am talking to krustyballer but can't really navigate his facebook page to see the sliders (or price plus shipping) but i'm also facebook illiterate. No idea the lead time it would take for those either.

Any feedback or advice is welcome. I added pictures for 'context'.

@krustyballer16 has a topic in the vendors section, I assume he’s still making them. The prices and whatnot are on the first post.

As far as other brand and what’s good and what’s not I couldn’t help, I just planned to get his sliders when I was ready.

I would not recommend the JCR sliders, the fit is not good. There are a few threads on here about them, do a search.

Edit: here is one of the threads.

Here's the link to the slider page on here with prices. My messages on my Scar Fab Facebook page never sent to you. Ill have to look into that. You can message my actual account for more info. Its easier than here.

I like the @krustyballer16 design since it doesn’t rely on the pinch seam. Just another option is the Spadano rockers. I run the Spadano rockers and you can get a tube option for them also. The step is very high though since it’s part of the rocker

I plan on building myself a set of sliders when we get a tubing bender. They would likely be similar to Krusty's though.
