And here is a video of a hill climb. My brother can attest to how steep the hill is, there is a number of jeeps that have tried and failed to make it up that hill. The locker in the back of this thing just let it walk up it without slipping a tire.

And I picked up some inner fenders for one of the J10s. Doesn’t get much better than AZ metal. Now I just have to listen to them rattle 1700 miles home

couple towels will keep them quiet.  :D  always remember your towel.

There is a blanket between them, but it isn't big enough and still rattles. I'll get something figured out before the long trek back.

feels good, doesn't it :D

Yes it sure does.

And…….

It got new shoes!

With the offset and the actual wheel width being 2 or 3 inches wider it makes them stick out a little over 2”, but it’s legal in WI, and it’s not nearly as bad as the trucks rolling around on 4” spacers with a big lift and stock tires.

Put almost 100 miles on it one evening over the weekend. Driving around the back country roads around my house, had a blast. The sunset was beautiful. Also saw a small waterfall but didn’t grab a pic of it. The truck is pretty photogenic too.

The orange got two hard days of wheeling this weekend. Plus two other days at home during the week. The G80 locker in the rear makes a world of difference. It was keeping up with many higher dollar builds.

From the house:

Passenger side front fender on the 83 has been flared to match the width of the bed.

Maybe this truck will end up with a razor grille

Found a little bit of rust in the right side rocker panel of the 83. It’s only the rear half of the outer and a tiny spot of the inner. We figured this rusted because the rear drains in the rocker got plugged when the truck was rustproofed. The inner patch just got welded in, hopefully the outer patch will be done soon too.

And the orange truck (I think) will eventually be getting a chrome pig nose grille someday. We just need to get it from Tucson to WI.

He picked up a set of 2004 Ram 3500 axles for the yellow 83 today. D60 front and an AAM 11.5 for the rear. They both have 4.10s and the rear axle has a limited slip. Overkill? Definitely.

Some welds at the rear of the bed tying the bedsides together started cracking, so they got fixed, some gussets added, and now a tailgate is getting installed.
