Put almost 100 miles on it one evening over the weekend. Driving around the back country roads around my house, had a blast. The sunset was beautiful. Also saw a small waterfall but didn’t grab a pic of it. The truck is pretty photogenic too.

Not much for updates. Still driving good. Got both trucks out for pictures and then built a spare tire carrier.

Yes it sure does. And……. It got new shoes! With the offset and the actual wheel width being 2 or 3 inches wider it makes them stick out a little over 2”, but it’s legal in WI, and it’s not nearly as bad as the trucks rolling around on 4” spacers with a big lift and stock tires.

Maiden voyage is complete. Drove it to school this morning and it went well

IMG_4557.mov And here is a video of a hill climb. My brother can attest to how steep the hill is, there is a number of jeeps that have tried and failed to make it up that hill. The locker in the back of this thing just let it walk up it without slipping a tire.

IMG_4558.mov Changed intake gaskets and that seemed to fix it. Everything seems pretty much good to go.

Alright Carter’s brother here. I am the owner of the j10’s😂. Other the summer we switched back to the orange 79 j10. My brother (89 mj) and my dad restarted this project while I was away on vacation. They started putting the body from this j10 on a k5 blazer frame with a running 350 with a tbi. To date we have shortened the bed, made body mounts for the whole truck, made the necessary linkage, put in a new radiator, put 33’s on it, and got it running and driving. Today we just discovered coolant in the oil so we tore the intake off the engine and are now going to replace intake gaskets to see if that will fix it. If it’s not, then its head gaskets, at which point I will swap in another running 350, also with a tbi
