there's a link in the classifieds if you've got 10k to spare.  I brought it here because it's too cool to pass up a gander.

I purchased this Jeep new in 1989. It is a 2 wheel drive, which I have lowered 2 inches, and installed ground effects from Archer Racing. It has a 6 cylinder, 4.0 liter engine with 68,000 original miles. Original interior, includes bucket seats and a 5-speed manual transmission. Painted with 89 Viper red and painted Rhino Lining to match. This truck is a real head turner and has won many awards at various car shows!

What I really want to know is where he got the ground effects and grill.  They look damn near New and he claims they are from Archer bros.  ALL I WANT IS AN AIR DAM!!!!!

They might have come from Archer Brothers, but I'm pretty confident they are Street FX brand. None of it available anymore.

I designed a custom grille at work. It will be cut from 1\8"aluminum. Running a CNC router has perks!

Very nice, but the S10 wheels throw it off for me.

Every bit of this makes me question if I should of signed that lease on the house and decided to get married. I could get it if it wasn't for that   biggrin.png

Still in, or Street Scene still make bumpers, roll pans, and side skirt\ground effects for a Comanche.

Was that a question or a statement?  I looked at their website and they don't show anything for a Comanche.

Yeah idk if I'd trust this.  $230, says it fits the MJ but also says may require modifications.  Screenshot_20190203-161932.png.14e8e99c343f8f4abf10291833371c6b.png

I just spend $40 and got 2 air dams (fog light and non fog light) for a 90s S10 from Rock Auto that I'm going to modify to work.

And what you'll find on those sites is there there is nothing MJ specific listed even thought they list the MJ.
I've been modifying stuff to work for me since way back!

I'm no stranger to custom work, I've just gotten lazy since I changed careers.

That stuff looks like 100% generic/universal stuff.  I don't care enough to do any legwork, so hold that against me if you want, but check if they say those parts fit the S10/Dakota/Ranger/Courier/Mazda Bs/whatever other mini trucks, that will tell you right away it's just a generic part.

Also, remember, aftermarket parts ONLY fit the box they come in.  And that's a best case scenario.

I like that quote!  Lots of truth there too.
