Cali Cruse
Man, I'm just firing out questions left and right here. Funny how impeding sense of winter is forcing me to act. Aside from stock, are there any available braking system which would take performance somewhere close to current?
gogmorgo
Not to dissuade you from asking questions, but you may find this thread of interest: Its an index of the topics you'll find in the "DIY projects" forum. There's an entire section on brakes. As to what specific upgrades will net better results I can't really say.

Would also be nice if you created a signature so people will know the specifics of your MJ.
Cali Cruse
Thanks. I should have searched. Number one rule of forums. I tried editing the signature, but couldn't find appropriate section. Operating via Android phone
Pete M
the double booster is by far the best upgrade. should be a couple how-tos in that link.
Jeep Driver
I have not installed these yet but you do have options.
bad_idea
Best bang for buck in descending order: WJ Brake Booster Rear disks - depending on axle you have, can pull disks setup from other models of jeeps. WJ Front Disks - bigger than stock, involved install. Comes with other benefits. Lot of work for what I consider minimal return (if you are only looking for better brakes) I swapped to the WJ booster and a 8.8 Explorer axle in my XJ ( I swapped axles for strength and the 8.8s come with disc brakes, added bonus). Was a night and day difference. Brakes feel like modern brakes as far as pedal feel. Perform much better too. Will be doing the same upgrades to my MJ, when I get there. Booster is the biggest bang. Then rear discs.
