It isn't! And that's why, now that I think about it, shop was telling me that the firewall is flexing. Would it make sense to print out what you folks are telling me and show it to the shop guys? I was thinking that, but I took it to one transmission shop and all they kept on doing was hollerin', "it's thrashed, it's thrashed". Took it to another place and they replaced the master cylinder twice and still the issue exists. When I start the truck, I cannot get it into gear. Something is obviously not functioning -

So that's a picture of the clutch pedal and rod that's going into the master cylinder. Basically no shop wants to work on this manual transmission truck and nowhere I can find a clutch pedal with bracket assembly. I don't even think it's the problem because something when clutch pedal is being pushed, is rupturing the master cylinder seal and causes that to fail. Do we reinforce the seal? Anyway thanks. Thank you. I'm more focused on the clutch pedal with the bracket. We've replaced master twice and it's busted again, so I think changing that again will only kick the can down the road again. Well it must have been bad juju on my part to even mention selling the Comanche because now the clutch pedal has decided to crap out and bust the master cylinder. Pushing clutch pedal is breaking the seal of the cylinder by swinging upwards, at least that's how the mechanic phrased it. So now I've got a paperweight and no idea how to fix it. FCA doesn't make replacement part of clutch pedal with bracket, no junkyard has it. Neither Cherokee or Comanche. Would a Wrangler part work? I'm just at a loss. We're certain it's the angle at which clutch pedal goes into the cylinder because we've replaced 2 of those already under warranty in scope of 6 months, but we were treating the symptom and not the underlying cause. Truck is in Michigan and so any advice on shops that have dealt with this issue is welcome. It's either fix the existing part or needle in a haystack for a replacement. That would have been a good first disclose! 174k. Got it at 145k. At time of purchase, I couldn't verify if that was an original mileage or not, but given the decent shape of exterior and interior I think it's accurate. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

Not sure if this is the right sub-forum. But we are contemplating selling our 1991 Pioneer 4x4 inline 6 with 5 speed manual. Just wondering what would be a fair asking price? I'm seeing them all over the map. Ours isn't in top condition to charge $25,000, nor is it a clunker at $2,000. Body is free of rust, new rear end, new clutch, rear brakes, slave cylinder, new radiator, ignition system overhall, replaced windshield, cargo bed cover, one year old Michelin tires. The bad is that horn button was moved to a dash, the interior dome lights don't work. The paint itself is decent, but certain spots could use a respray or touch up of various scratches. We love the truck dearly, but it's almost always in the shop, and when it is in the shop, they always have difficulty finding the parts, or they don't want to work on it because it's so old and not as profitable. I think it would be an excellent weekend warrior vehicle or a vehicle for someone with a very short work commute. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

Good question...I don't recall. It was an AutoZone part. So thankfully we were able to tow the truck no problem. Subaru did good and so did my girlfriend in braking and keeping the tension, not between us, but rather Comanche and Impreza. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk -

Comanche isn't starting and I'm suspecting it's down to a fuel pump or a fuel filter. Air is there, or ignition system we've sorted out a year ago, starter is turning, battery is at 12V. So it's gotta be fuel delivery related. Anyway, practical question, where would I attach a rope to if towing the Comanche down a 25mph subdivision street for two miles to be exact? My Impreza has the tow hook pop outs, but I don't see where I can tie into the truck. I realize we're going two miles down and at slow speed, but I want to be safe-ish. Molded drop in liner only. The current one I got won't work because of the Downey truck bed cover that I'm installing. There is no way for me to clamp the railing. I suppose it would have to be a molded bed liner only. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk -
Looking for some options to replace the bed, wall, gate liner. Haven't been able to find anything for Comanche. Also, do they make ones that have openings on wall side to accommodate clamps for truck bed cover? Hope my question makes sense. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

I just went to AutoZone trying to find white spray on paint for my rust removal project and no luck. All they had was touch up GM paint. Looks like sticker doesn't have the paint code. Any advice? Attached is the sticker. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
