New Custom Embroidery Shop In Town

Recommended Posts

I been wanting some graphics on my headrests for awhile now, and searched and found several places online that do custom embroidery all over the country. All of them charged at least $75 and up depending on the complexity of the lettering and /or graphics, plus postage back and forth. Then my wife told me about a small shop in town that had recently opened that does custom embroidery and residential upholstery work, so I pulled my headrest covers off went over to see them. All I wanted was just simple text stating Jeep COMANCHE in regulation Moper fonts. They downloaded the fonts from various web sites and came up with suggestions while I was there, and we agreed on a design. Here they are - cost me $45 total. The ladies have a state of the art custom embroidery machine about 7' tall that can take any presized presentation of graphics, colors, and font combinations from a computer.

I don't think there is anyone else you can find that can do the quality of their work for less. If anyone is interested in having some custom sewing work done, let me know, and I'll pass along the contact info. And no, I don't get a cut for referrals.

They didn't have chrome thread. Still looks good, great price. Could be more work coming their way.

They did have chrome thread, and I thought about it - hard. But the ladies said the chrome thread wouldn't show up well on the gray tweed.   The red matches the side graphic I have nicely.

Why the black center console lid?  Just to match the tray insert in the console?

I have a bastard mix/match black/gray/chrome interior. Just think it looks better with the basic Laredo upholstery. Kinda breaks up the boredom. Maybe I'm weird..

Kick panels staying put? No idea. I've had them on/off about 50 times.   :D
