Got the turbines mounted on my bfgs. I need to get this slave hooked back up and thr trans put back up so i can get it turned around. My garage is a mess from all the wet sanding and wood burning from the winter. Really need a nice day to get the truck out and re organize the garage. I put the flares back on (temporarily) as well as the b pillar vent to get an idea.

Pulled this bad boy out from the crawlspace where it has been living the last few years. Time to get him cleaned up will be perfect for this truck. Put power to it and works as it should. I have everything aside from the plastic gap pieces.

Refinished my center caps (thanks cruiser). I started to work on preparing for the orange 4x4 decals using my 86 sales brochure as a guide. I decided to paint the lower "blackout" section, rather than doing the vinyl decals, as i don't feel i have the skill to tackle that. I decided on satin black since it seems to have a dull look. I sanded the lowe quarter back down with 400 grit after figuring out my lines. I tried to get as close to the factory lines as possible. What do you guys think?

Still plugging along with the lower body blackout.  I'm happy with how it is turing out. the paint has just the right amount of dullness to mach what the factory decal/paint looked like.

Took a ride with my friend after work last night out to CT to pick up a bumper for $50 and it even came with the tow hook brackets and OEM chrome hooks.... It was nice to get out for a bit after being stuck in all this time.

I Know people have their favorite brand of lubricant and penetrating oils but my friend was cleaning out his garage and gave me a can of this old school Honda Pro multipurpose lube and rust penetrating oil.  Man this stuff works fantastic! has anyone else used it before? It appears to have been discontinued when i look up the honda part number.

Hey guys. Ive been away for a bit. My appologies. My wife gave birth to our first son so i have been busy enjoying my time with him and only working on the comanche when he naps. I do have some updates as i ended up doing my graphics from pheonix graphics and got matching blue seats (still need to shampoo them there is a rust stain on the pass seat) from my boss as well. My boss also hooked me up with a NOS downpipe as I'm now working on exhaust.
